With our spring break trip coming up in a few days, we are so excited for some of the amazing experiences and opportunities we will be able to have during our Walt Disney World vacation.
It has been a few years since we have all been down together as a whole family and I can’t wait to do so much together and take in all the magic.
Here are a few things that I can’t wait to do once again in Walt Disney World during this spring break trip.
Ride the Skyliner
There is something extra magical about the skyliner. This newest mode of transportation in Walt Disney World transfers Guests to and from both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
This isn’t just a transportation option to us though as it is a ride! We love riding it between the two Parks and enjoy taking time to stop and look around other Resorts such as Disney’s Riviera, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, Pop Century as well as Art of Animation.
The views from up in the skyliner are fantastic as well. It is so magical to come into EPCOT and see the World Showcase from high up.
If we are really good, we will even try to take a ride so we can catch parts of Harmonious from up high as well.
We are definitely looking forward to taking some rides on the skyliner during this trip.
Rise of the Resistance
Although we are looking forward to riding a lot of rides together, one of the big ones we can’t wait to experience is Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This outstanding ride puts Guests in the middle of the Star Wars movies like never before.
The whole ride is stunning and breathtaking and truly unbelievable. We can’t wait to be able to experience it once again and see all the new features we discover.
Saying Hi To Mickey Mouse
This will be the first time back since character meet and greets have returned to the Disney Parks. We can’t wait to be able to say hello to Mickey Mouse once again.
Even though these meet and greets remain different than before, we are still looking forward to saying hello to Mickey Mouse. It is exciting that we can see him in most of the Disney Parks giving us a lot of different options when it comes to seeing him.
Hang at the Pool
Coming from the north, we are more than excited to spend some time at the pool of our Disney Resort. Even though we love going to a Theme Park each day, the pool is so much fun. Not only does Disney have amazing pools, the fun activities they provide during the afternoons are favorites of the kids.
We can’t wait to have some R&R time by the pool while we are visiting Walt Disney World.
Have Good Food
Part of a Walt Disney World vacation is the good food. We are looking forward to having some good meals in the Disney Parks and at the Disney Resorts.
We have specific snacks, quick-service and table-service meals planned to give us a variety of options as well as a variety of food choices while we are in Walt Disney World.
From the classic Mickey pretzel and Mickey ice cream to the new dining options at Steakhouse 71 and Space 220, we can’t wait to try all the delicious food.
Take Photos
Another activity that we like to do while in Walt Disney World is to take photos around the Theme Parks. There are so many hidden and beautiful locations from the Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to the castle in Magic Kingdom that we like trying to capture them all.
We also take time to stop and visit the different Disney Photopass Photographers throughout the four Theme Parks. It is nice to have pictures of the whole family together in front of the different Disney icons.
See Live Entertainment
Rides are often the focus of a Disney vacation prior to heading down, but there is something truly magical about the live entertainment throughout the Disney Parks.
We can’t wait to be able to once again enjoy the talented Cast Members that bring the magic to Guests each and every day.
From the street performers during the parades to the performers that bring our favorite movies to life in Festival of the Lion King or Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage, we are thrilled to once again be able to sing and dance in the Parks.
Enjoy the Magic
Finally, we are looking forward to enjoying the magic! We are looking forward to walking down Main Street, U.S.A. as we hear the magical music playing and the castle glows in the distance.
Hanging out on the hub grass in front of the castle and just enjoying the magical atmosphere is something we really look forward to.
Each of the four Theme Parks as well as the Walt Disney World Resorts are magical and special. We can’t wait to once again experience the magic!
We absolutely can’t wait to head back to Walt Disney World and experience so much of the new and exciting experiences as well as some of our favorites. Walt Disney World holds a magical spot for our family and we are blessed to be heading back once again.
