WATCH: Mickey and Minnie Mouse Say Farewell at Disneyland

Get ready because we’re about to show you the cutest tradition at Disneyland Resort. In Mickey’s Toontown at Disneyland Park, Mickey and Minnie Mouse share a quiet nightly ritual that charms a select few guests lucky enough to witness it.

Each day, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse invite thousands of Disney Park guests into their homes in Mickey’s Toontown. Guests can explore the character’s colorful, cartoonish homes while waiting for photos and autographs from The Walt Disney Company icons.

One might assume that when the last guest leaves Mickey or Minnie Mouse’s house, the character performers immediately “switch off” and head home for the night. But there’s one thing these entertainment cast members must do before they clock out.

Last week, TikTok user @stuckinneverlandco shared a video of Mickey and Minnie Mouse saying goodnight to each other in Mickey’s Toontown. After their meet-and-greets shut down, the Disney characters met up in front of guests and shared a kiss.

Like a true gentleman, Mickey Mouse ensured that Minnie Mouse arrived safely at her front door before returning to his home. The two shared a sweet, extended goodbye as guests oohed and awed.

“If it’s not like this I don’t want it,” the TikToker wrote.

The video amassed over 150,000 likes and comments. Social media users were obsessed with the magic of such a little moment in a quiet part of Disneyland Park.

“Oh this would make my life complete if I saw it,” @runitsanna commented.

“Just found a reason to go back to Disney for the 5th time this year,” said @rriannnna.

@dawn.many was reminded of a childhood memory from Disneyland Resort:

“This made me cry. When I was a kid, the park was closing and I hadn’t seen Mickey yet so whether it was a cast member or my parents, they rushed me to toontown and I got to meet Mickey! He signed my autograph book🥹 It really is the happiest place on earth”

Unofficial experiences like this one are never guaranteed, but Disney Park guests have a good chance of seeing Mickey and Minnie kiss goodnight in Mickey’s Toontown around the time that Disneyland Park closes!
