Winged Encounters- The Kingdom Takes Flight- Disney’s Animal Kingdom

When visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom, one easy yet incredibly magical experience is the Winged Encounters on Discovery Island. During this experience, a flock of free-flying macaws swoop and soar over Guests.

It is truly breathtaking to see the beautiful colors of these birds as they take to the sky over Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Following their performance, join a Cast Member as they share information about the macaws. Learn how their wingspans can get up to 48 inches long and so much more.

Discovery Trails- Disney’s Animal Kingdom

After enjoying the macaws, the Discovery Trails is another easy experience in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. These trails take you up and around the Tree of Life. They provide excellent views of this magnificent tree and all the different animals.

What we love about this trail is explicitly how quiet it always is. We love grabbing a snack or a Starbucks and walking around these deserted trails. You can also enjoy fantastic water views around the Tree of Life.

Skyliner Ride

If you need to step away from Disney Parks, consider taking a Skyliner ride. The Disney Skyliner takes Guests between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Stops are made at Disney’s Riveria Resort and the central hub at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort.

The Disney Skyliner is truly a magical experience and so easy. Enjoy soaring high above Walt Disney World, where you can see parts of the Walt Disney World Resort that you have never seen before.

Consider stopping and visiting one of the Skyliner Resorts for a drink, snack, or walk around. This is a great and easy way to continue to experience Disney magic with less stress and fewer people.

Vacation Fun- An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie- Disney’s Hollywood Studios

In a Disney Parks that is constantly busy, you might need help finding some easy and magical experiences. One of our top choices is to go and find a seat at the Mickey Shorts Theater. Here Guests can enjoy an original animated film featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends.

This short film is a great way to escape the crowds and enjoy a break while immersed in Mickey’s magic.

Tom Sawyer Island

Tom Sawyer Island- Magic Kingdom

Many Guests don’t take the time to explore Tom Sawyer Island at Magic Kingdom. The raft ride to the island turns many Guests away, but it is well worth it. There is so much to see and explore on the island that everyone will have a fun time.

We like the island because it is easy. There are no lines, but instead, caves and tunnels to explore. The island also provides fantastic views of Frontierland and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Cinderella Castle. We find the island a great place to sit and take in the magic.

Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival- EPCOT

EPCOT has a lot of films that are great for a break. Our favorite films are the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival shorts. Located in World Celebration, Guests can experience a few short films in 4D.

As we love the shorts that Disney and Pixar put out, we enjoy relaxing and seeing them during our vacation. There is typically never a long wait, so these are easy to visit.

Beacons of Magic

As part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration, each of the four Disney Icons is transformed each night. These four icons come to life using amazing lights to celebrate Disney magic. These are easy to stop by and visit in each of the four Parks and are breathtaking and magical. As they happen on and off throughout the evening, stopping by when it is convenient for you is easy.

People Mover

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover-Magic Kingdom

Our last easy and magical experience is the PeopleMover in Magic Kingdom. Even if there is a slight line for this attraction, it is worth it. This slow-moving ride high above Tomorrowland is what we would call perfect. We love how it takes us through different rides in Tomorrowland. It is also so much fun to see the sights of Magic Kingdom from way up high. We enjoy sitting back, relaxing, and enjoying the magic around us as we ride.

It feels like a Walt Disney World trip is all hard work. Although you do have to take some time to plan, there are still magical experiences that are easy to experience. We hope that by sharing these with you, you will better understand some easy but magical experiences you can enjoy.
