Top Places to Find Mickey at Walt Disney World

Mickey Mouse is a big part of the magic at Walt Disney World.   For us, a trip to Disney isn’t complete without meeting Mickey Mouse himself.  There are other ways to get your Mickey Mouse fix at Walt Disney World.

We are going to take a look at some of the different ways you can get your Mickey Mouse fix in each of the four Disney Parks.

Magic Kingdom

There are a few ways that Guests can get their Mickey to fix in Magic Kingdom.

The main way most people see Mickey Mouse in Magic Kingdom is by meeting him in the Town Square Theater on Main Street, U.S.A..  Here Mickey greets Guests in his 50th Anniversary EARIDECENT outfit.  Soon Minnie will be joining him making it even more of a magical experience.   This meet and greet option is part of Genie+.  It might be a great choice if it is a must-do experience for your group.

Festival of Fantasy Parade, as well as Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade, are two other ways Guests can see Mickey while in Magic Kingdom.   These times are listed in the My Disney Experience app making it easy to determine when to find a spot.

One time a day Guests can also see Mickey as he takes center stage in front of the castle during Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire show.  Grab a snack and hang out with Mickey and friends as they sing and dance together.

Finally, Guests can see Mickey in action as they watch Mickey’s PhilharMagic in Fantasyland.  This adorable 4d show not only brings us Sorcerer Mickey but also a variety of beloved characters such as Aladdin, Ariel, Simba, and more.  Get those glasses and get ready to sing along.

Those are all the ways that Guests can find Mickey Mouse in Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there are a few ways that Guests can get their Mickey Mouse fix.

First is the new Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.   This amazing ride brings Guests into the story as Mickey and Minnie head out on a picnic together but things go wrong.  As they cruise along on their train, driven by Goofy, Guests quickly experience the struggles that Mickey and Minnie go through during their adventures. The ride is truly breathtaking and so fun for the whole family.

Nearby is the Mickey Shorts Theater.   This cute theater with chairs that look like Mickey shows a cute short called Vacation Fun.  This is an adorable short film where Mickey gets ready for vacation with Minnie.  It is cute and there are great photo opportunities in the building as well.

Guests can also meet Sorcerer Mickey at the Red Carpet Dreams down Commissary Lane.  This is a fun meet and greets for those wanting to say hello to Mickey.

If Guests are wanting to have a meal with Mickey, they can enjoy a meal at Hollywood and Vine.  Here Minnie hosts delightful season meals and you know she wouldn’t do so without Mickey.

Mickey Tusker House

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

There aren’t as many opportunities to see Mickey Mouse at Disney’s Animal Kingdom as there are at the other Disney Parks.  At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the main area to get your Mickey Mouse fix is at the new a

Adventures Outpost where Mickey and Minnie Mouse both welcome Guests into their exploration headquarters.   We are thrilled that this meet and greet is returning as we love the adorable safari costumes they wear.

Tusker House in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a charming character meal that includes Mickey.  Donald hosts a safari-themed meal with unique flavors.  As part of the party, Mickey comes around and says hello to Guests.

Besides this meet and greet and Tusker House there really isn’t another area in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to get your Mickey Mouse to fix taken care of.

EPCOT

In EPCOT, there are a few ways to see Mickey Mouse.  First is a meet and greet in the Imagination Pavilion.   Here Mickey Mouse is in his traditional outfit if Guests are wanting a photo with that Mickey’s traditional outfit.  Because he is sort of hidden in this area, you won’t often find a long wait.

The other way you can get your Mickey to fix in EPCOT is through all the hidden Mickey throughout the Park and rides.  Throughout Walt Disney World, Guests will notice the representation of Mickey Mouse hidden in special spots for Guests to discover.  Living with the Land is one of the best rides for finding hidden Mickeys.  We also like exploring the aquarium next door and seeing hidden Mickey’s there as well.

Garden Grill is another great way to see Mickey while in EPCOT.   Here Guests are able to enjoy a great meal while visiting with Chip n Dale as well as Mickey and Pluto.

Dining Outside the Disney Parks

For those not wanting to head into the Disney Parks but still wanting to see Mickey, there are a few character meals to choose from.

Both Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, as well as Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort, offers dining with Mickey.  At Topolino’s Terrace it is only breakfast but a fantastic one.  Chef Mickey’s offers all meals for Guests to choose from when it comes to dining with Mickey.

Mickey Mouse is a big part of a Walt Disney World vacation for our family and we are glad there are so many ways to get our Mickey Mouse to fix through Walt Disney World.
