Attractions to Visit In Disney When You Don’t Want a Line
Waiting in line is just part of a Walt Disney World vacation. No matter how much your plan or if you choose to use Genie+ and Individual Lighting Lanes, you will end up standing in some lines during your trip.
We have some tips and tricks at How to Disney regarding how to avoid long lines, but what if you just need something that won’t have a line at all? Is that even possible in Walt Disney World?
We are here to tell you that yes it is! We have some experiences in Walt Disney World where you can still have a magical time without waiting in line. Let’s take a look at some of these options throughout Walt Disney World.
Disney Park with the most to see and do, there are a few hidden gems that you can enjoy normally without a wait.
Mickey’s Philharmagic- Fantasyland
One of our favorite spots to visit when we need something without a line is Mickey’s Philharmagic. This adorable show just added a whole new section with Coco and it is fantastic. Guests travel with Donald Duck as he visits some of our favorite Disney movies such as Aladdin, Lion Kingdom, Little Mermaid, and more.
This show is a good option if you are wanting something without a wait. If you catch it right, you can typically walk right into the theatre. You might have to wait a few minutes as the current show wraps up, but that doesn’t take long. The bonus of air conditioning makes this a great choice.
Hall of Presidents- Liberty Square
Over in Liberty Square, Guests who are looking for an experience with no wait can visit the Hall of Presidents. This is a wonderful show that does a fantastic job celebrating the history of the USA while showcasing our Presidents.
Even if you have to wait for the next show to start, there is plenty of things to look at in the lobby of the show. We highly recommend all Guests take the time to catch this historical show at least once. It is a bonus that you won’t want to wait long to see it.
Carousel of Progress- Tomorrowland
If the lines for Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear are too long, we recommend visiting the Carousel of Progress. This classic Disney ride is one that never has a long wait. Guests enter into a large theatre where they experience the story of technology over time.
We appreciate that this show is longer as it gives more time out of the crowd and heat when we need it. The only wait Guests typically have here is if the theatre is in between scenes and it needs to stop rotating. This is only a few minutes.
Country Bear Jamboree- Frontierland
While waiting for the lines to Splash Mountain or Big Thunder Mountain Railroad to go down, Guests can easily walk in and see the Country Bears. This long-standing show, although it could use some updates, is one that never has a long wait.
Being a great spot to sit down and catch some air-conditioning, we think it is a good option for when you need something quick and with no line.
Swiss Family Treehouse- Adventureland
The Swiss Family Treehouse is a walk-through attraction meaning it typically never has a wait. Guests are able to enjoy the tree house at their own pace.
If you are looking for something relaxing to do, this might not be the best option as it is a lot of climbing. For those that are looking to tire out some kids, this is a great option.
There are a lot of options in EPCOT that don’t typically have lines. Most of the experiences in EPCOT allow Guests to enjoy themselves at their own pace which is a nice option.
World Showcase Pavilions
Back in the World Showcase part of EPCOT, Guests can enjoy the many different pavilions. Each pavilion has special and unique experiences that are specific to that country. As these are all walk-through experiences, there is never a line.
Guests can enjoy the different gardens, stroll through the stores, or even enjoy the different displays. These provide some great edutainment that EPCOT is known for without any wait.
Films
Another great feature in EPCOT that doesn’t have any waits are the films. Throughout EPCOT there are numerous films that Guests can enjoy. They range from Awesome Planet in the Land Pavilion to specific country-focused films such as Impressions de France.
The films in EPCOT are once again a great way to learn a little while enjoying yourself.
Aquarium- The Seas Pavilion
One of the hidden gems in EPCOT is the aquarium found in the Seas Pavilion. There is so much to see in these amazing aquariums. From dolphins to manatees, Guests will have a great time walking around and taking it all in.
Like with the World Showcase exhibits, the aquariums don’t ever have a line and Guests can come and go as they wish.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
There is so much to see and do in Disney’s Animal Kingdom if you take the time to find the hidden gems.
Walking Trails
Most Guests are aware of two walking trails. The Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail and Maharajah Jungle Trek are well-known walking trails. They offer amazing views of the animals focusing on gorillas and tigers.
Guests should also take time to explore the Discovery Trail around the Tree of Life. This offers an outstanding view of the Tree of Life and the amazing carvings.
The trails are nice as you can go as fast or slow as you wish.
Find the Animals
As you might have assumed, because it is Disney’s Animal Kingdom, there are many lovely animals that make this Disney Park home. If you are looking for something that doesn’t have a long line, visit some of the many animals around the Park.
This is a great way to see some fun animals while not waiting on anything at all.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
This Disney Park seems to be extremely busy all the time now. This doesn’t mean that there aren’t experiences to do that won’t have long lines.
Muppets 3D
For a good laugh, Guests can enjoy Muppets 3D. This attraction is an icon in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It typically doesn’t have a long line at all. Even if you do have to wait for the next show, the preshow is just as entertaining.
Shows
Another way to experience some fun without long lines is by visiting the shows. You can obviously choose to wait in line to guarantee a seat; however, if you aren’t set on seeing the show consider walking up closer to start time. You might be able to walk right into a seat.
Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is one show that doesn’t even have a wait. If you are wanting to sit down for a while consider hanging out with McQueen and Friends.
