The first reason why you will want to stay at Disney’s Grand Floridian & Spa is because of the location. Right on Seven Seas Lagoon, those staying at this Disney Resort have quick access to Magic Kingdom as well as the other Disney Resort on Seven Seas Lagoon.

Being able to see Cinderella Castle from your Disney Resort as you enjoy a meal or hang out a the pool is magical.

Because where Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is located near the Magic Kingdom, their numerous modes of transportation to get Guests to the magic fast.

When heading to Magic Kingdom, Guests staying at Dsiney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa can enjoy a quick monorail ride or a nice, relaxing boat ride across Seven Seas Lagoon. Use the monorail to also get to the other Resorts on the monorail ride, or skip to the EPCOT line for a quick monorail ride to EPCOT.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios can be accessed via the Disney buses. These will pick up Guests at the front of the Resort and quickly get them on their way.

For those that have little ones, being able to use the monorail for quick and easy access to Magic Kingdom can be extremely helpful throughout a Disney vacation. Not having to fold up a stroller and repack is fantastic. Also, those riding the monorail will go through security prior to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT making your entrance to the Park fast and smooth as well.

Eating well is a big part of a Walt Disney World vacation and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is a fantastic place to have some wonderful meals. Guests can enjoy a quick meal at Gasparilla Grill. Here you can find sandwiches, cupcakes, and soup throughout the day.

Have a relaxing meal at Grand Floridian Cafe. Brunch is served all day long so everyone will find something delicious. Along with casual options, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa offers some of the most exclusive dining experiences at Walt Disney World.

Try out Narcoossee’s or Citricos as well as the AAA Five Diamon Award-winning Victoria and Alberts. This is the ultimate fine dining experience at Walt Disney World and it is right inside Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.

Finally, don’t miss out on Enchanted Rose, the Beauty, and the Beast-themed lounge. This beautiful lounge features multiple rooms and even an outdoor patio to enjoy a magnificent view of the Resort. Enjoy a cocktail inspired by the movie while enjoying all the magic.

Looking to read your book by the pool or have kids that are ready to swim? Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has the pools for you. There are two main pools for Guests to enjoy during their stay.

The Beach pool overlooks Seven Seas Lagoon and has a 181-foot-long waterslide along with a waterfall, zero-depth entry, and a gorgeous walking bridge perfect for those pictures. Nearby there is a splash area for the little ones to enjoy.

The second pool is the Courtyard Pool which includes a zero-entry pool as well as an amazing whirlpool all located right behind the main building. No matter which pool you choose to visit while staying at the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you will have a magical time enjoying some recreation and relaxation.

Holidays

For those that love the holidays, there is no better Disney Resort than Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Most know about the famous and beautiful gingerbread house that takes over the lobby during Christmas. This life-size house is full of gingerbread shingles, frosting, and candy and Guests can actually purchase some of the delicious gingerbread treats from the house when visiting.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will transport you into a winter wonderland during your Walt Disney World vacation.
