Top 10 Disney Bucket List Experiences You Shouldn’t Miss

When considering all the magical experiences we can have at Walt Disney World, some are on our bucket list. These experiences have a higher price point or limited availability.

If we dream big, as Walt Disney told us, these magical experiences remain on our Disney bucket list.

10. VIP Tour

A significant experience we hope to have during our Walt Disney World vacations is a Private VIP Tour. These are available most days at Walt Disney World. Guests can book those individually or with their travel agent.

This is one of the most magical ways to experience Walt Disney World. Guests are given a private guide to help them navigate the Disney Parks in the most VIP way. With a VIP tour, there are no long wait times, allowing you to get on to your favorite rides quickly.

Not only do we dream of feeling like VIPs at Disney, but we also like to learn from these fantastic Cast Members.

9. Parks Around the World

For the ultimate Disney fan, visiting all the Disney Parks worldwide is a dream. With six international Disney Resorts, the magic spans the globe:

Each location offers unique attractions and experiences, from the stunning Tokyo DisneySea to the enchanting Disneyland Paris. Exploring these parks lets you see how Disney magic is interpreted across cultures.

8. Aulani

Heading down to beautiful Hawaii has always been on our bucket list, but now that we can experience the beauty of this island with a Disney touch makes it even better. We want to head down to Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa.

This outstanding Resort offers so much for Guests to do. A variety of pools, beach access, water experiences, and so much magic. We can enjoy these experiences and see our favorite Disney characters, enjoy a Dole Whip, and have other magical Disney experiences.

7. Firework Cruise on Grand One Yacht

Experience Disney’s nighttime magic from the water aboard the luxurious Grand 1 Yacht. This private cruise circles the Seven Seas Lagoon, offering a front-row view of nighttime spectaculars like Happily Ever After over Cinderella Castle. The yacht includes private dining options, a butler, and space for up to 17 Guests.

With synchronized music and breathtaking views, this exclusive experience is perfect for special celebrations with family and friends.

6. Staying at All Disney Resorts

Walt Disney World’s resorts each offer unique themes, dining, and activities. Many fans dream of staying at every Disney resort from the elegance of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to the immersive theming of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

5. Disney Vacation Club

It is a big bucket list dream to be a Disney Vacation Club owner someday. This would allow us to invest in the Disney Company and have Disney magic in the future.

Disney Vacation Club members purchase real estate and a timeshare from Disney and use these points to enjoy magical vacations. It is a great way to continue enjoying Disney magic for years.

4. Annual Passholder

This bucket list item isn’t typically hard to achieve; however, Disney isn’t selling annual passes for Walt Disney World. We would love to be able to purchase an Annual Pass. This would allow us to visit the magic more often throughout the year.

3. runDisney Event

Another Disney event we would love to experience at least once is a runDisney event. Disney offers four different running events throughout the year. Marathon Weekend takes place in January, Princess Weekend in February, and Spring Surprise Weekend at the end of March or the beginning of April. Finally, the Wine and Dine weekend happens in November.

The pictures and videos of all the joy, magic, and support runners experience during these weekends make us want to experience one of these runDisney weekends.

Visiting Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida within the same year is a bucket list dream for many. Experiencing the unique charm of both resorts—from Walt Disney’s original park in Anaheim to the expansive magic of Walt Disney World—is a true Disney fan adventure.

1. Holidays in the Parks

The holidays are even more magical at Disney Parks. From Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom to Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Disney offers unforgettable seasonal experiences.

Each park has unique holiday offerings, including festive decorations, themed treats, and exclusive events. Experiencing the holidays at Disney is the perfect way to celebrate the season with family and friends.

That is my Disney bucket list. What would you put on your Disney bucket list?
