10 Experiences For Your Disney Bucket List

When looking at all the magical experiences, we can have at Walt Disney World; some are on our bucket list. These are experiences that have a higher price point or have limited availability.

If we dream big, as Walt Disney told us, these magical experiences continue to be on our Disney bucket list.

10. VIP Tour

A significant experience we hope to do during our Walt Disney World vacations is a Private VIP Tour. These are available most days at Walt Disney World. Guests can book those individually or with their travel agent.

This is one of the most magical ways to experience Walt Disney World. Guests are given a private guide to help them navigate the Disney Parks in the most VIP way. With a VIP tour, there are no long wait times that you have to deal with. This allows you to get on to your favorite rides quickly.

Not only do we dream of feeling like a VIP in Disney, but we also like learning from these fantastic Cast Members.

9. Parks Around the World

Another major bucket list item as a Disney fan is to visit all the Disney Parks around the world. There are currently six Disney Parks in the world. We all know about Walt Disney World and Disneyland here in the United States; however, there are four other Disney Parks.

In Europe, we would love to experience Disneyland Paris. Similar to the US Parks, this Disney location has two Parks along with Resorts for Guests to experience. This year Disneyland Paris is celebrating 30 years.

Over in Asia, you can experience the remaining Disney Parks. Guests can experience Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo Disney, and Shanghai Disneyland Park. These three parks offer unique experiences, such as Tokyo DisneySea and so much more.

We would love the opportunity to travel to these other Disney Parks and experience the magic they offer in these other countries.

8. Aulani

Heading down to beautiful Hawaii has always been on our bucket list, but now that we can experience the beauty of this island with a Disney touch makes it even better. We want to head down to Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa.

This outstanding Resort offers so much for Guests to do. A variety of pools, beach access, water experiences, and so much magic. We can enjoy these experiences and see our favorite Disney characters, enjoy a Dole Whip, and have other magical Disney experiences.

7. Firework Cruise on Grand One Yacht

An experience that we have been looking into at Walt Disney World is the fireworks cruise onboard the beautiful and large Grand 1.

Although the regular firework cruises are offered for Disney’s Enchantment and Harmonious, the Grand 1 is only around the Seven Seas Lagoon. While on board this fantastic yacht, Guests can watch the nighttime spectaculars from a fantastic spot. The music for these shows is synchronized onboard so Guests can have a fully immersive experience.

The Grand 1 comes with private dining and a butler and can have up to 17 people. We would love to enjoy a private fireworks experience onboard with our family and friends.

6. Staying at All Disney Resorts

Walt Disney World has so many excellent Resorts to choose from that it is on our bucket list to stay at them all. Each offers fun themes, pools, and dining that we would love to enjoy.

The dream is to be able to stay at all the deluxe Resorts such as Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and the new Disney’s Riveria. These fantastic Resorts are magical, and we would love to experience them all. From watching the animals at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to seeing the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, there is something unique and special about them.

Getting to them might take a while, but we are excited to do so.

5. Disney Vacation Club

It is a big bucket list dream to be a Disney Vacation Club owner someday. This would allow us to invest in the Disney Company and have Disney magic in the future.

Disney Vacation Club members purchase real estate and a timeshare from Disney and use these points to enjoy magical vacations. It is a great way to continue enjoying Disney magic for years.

This bucket list item isn’t typically so hard to achieve; however, Disney isn’t selling annual passes for Walt Disney World. We would love to be able to purchase an Annual Pass. This would allow us to visit the magic more often throughout the year.

3. runDisney Event

Another Disney event we would love to experience at least once is a runDisney event. Disney offers four different running events throughout the year. Marathon Weekend takes place in January, Princess Weekend in February, and Spring Surprise Weekend at the end of March or the beginning of April. Finally, the Wine and Dine weekend happens in November. The pictures and videos of all the joy, magic, and support runners experience during these weekends make us want to experience one of these runDisney weekends.

2. Coast to Coast

Being able to visit both Disney Parks in the same calendar year is a bucket list item that we hope will come true shortly. It would be fantastic to experience both Disneyland and Walt Disney World all in one year.

1. Holidays in the Parks

Finally, we want to experience all the holiday celebrations at Disneyland and Walt Disney World. From attending special events such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and BooBash, we want to try these all out. Each Disney Park offers something unique during the holiday season, and we would love to experience them all.

That is my Disney bucket list. What would you put on your Disney bucket list?

Jennifer became a lifelong Disney fan during her first trip to Walt Disney World in 6th grade. From that moment, Disney became a big part of her life. She quickly started to introduce her love of Disney to her family with a Disney honeymoon and then family trips when her youngest was 18 months old. She loves the magic that Disney brings to people through theme parks, cruises, and adventures. As a teacher, she tries to bring Disney magic into her classroom to help kids believe that “If You Can Dream It, You Can Do It.” She is also part of the Magic Vacation Planner team as a personal travel advisor. With this team, she can now help others plan magical vacations. She loves bringing her love to Disney to readers with How to Disney.
