Disney Is For Kids

Yes, Walt Disney World is for kids, but the goal of Walt Disney himself was to create a place for kids and parents to have fun together.  We hear this lie a lot from friends and co-workers.  Even though Walt Disney World has a lot for kids to do, it also provides a lot of fun, unique experiences for adults as well.

EPCOT is a fantastic place for adults to explore.  Not only can Guests enjoy the EPCOT festival that provides great drinks and food options, but they can also explore the amazing pavilions throughout World Showcase.

Adults can also participate in many experiences such as unique tours, excursions such as fishing, and high-end dining at places such as Victoria and Alberts.

Don’t believe the lie that Disney is just for kids.  It also provides a lot of great, adult-focused experiences as well.

There Are No Thrill Rides

This lie often connects with the previous one about Disney being for kids.  Many people believe that Disney doesn’t offer any thrill rides.  Even though the focus might not always be on thrill, we can say for certain that Disney does have its share of thrilling rides.

For roller coaster junkies, Disney has Rock n’ Roller Coaster at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  The new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT is the newest thrill ride that begins with a reverse launch.

For jump scare thrills, Dinosaur in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is definitely thrilling as those dinos get us every time.

We have a whole post HERE on How to Disney about rides the thrill seekers will enjoy at Walt Disney World.  Don’t think it is all tea cups and it’s a small world because that isn’t true.

Every Ride Has Long Lines

We aren’t going to lie to you either-there are some rides at Walt Disney World that see extremely long waits each and every day.  Slinky Dog Dash, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Avatar Flight of Passage all see long lines each and every day.  Side note- use our tips HERE to navigate those long lines.

This doesn’t however mean that every, single ride or experience in all four Disney Parks has long waits all day long.  In each of the four Disney Parks, there are rides, shows, and experiences that don’t have long lines all day long.

Take some time to research and learn HERE so you can show up prepared and know which experiences to hit when wait times start to increase.
