Yes! Another Trip To Disney!

Yes we are heading to Walt Disney World again this summer and I can’t wait. It might seem strange to some that I can continue to get excited about my trips to Walt Disney World. Each trip is different from previous trips and that makes each one magical and exciting.

This summer, I am taking the kids solo to meet up with other Disney moms and their kids. Our trip will be six days in which we have tickets for each day including a Park Hopper allowing us to move between the four Disney Parks starting at 2 pm each day.

Let’s get into what I am excited for on this Disney trip.

Coronado Springs Resort

The first thing I am excited about is our Disney Resort. When talking to the kids about where they would like to stay this summer, Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort was the response from both of them.

The kids think that the Dig Site pool is one of the best they have swam at while in Disney. This comparison includes Art of Animation, Disney’s Polynesian Resort and Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. They find the Jaguar slide a lot of fun and the pool is large giving all swimmers room to have fun.

I also am looking forward to Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort because of the food options. Not only is there a great food court, but the pool bar also serves hot items throughout the day making it easy to grab something while enjoying the pool.

If we want to enjoy a sit down meal, there are a few options right at the Resort. The great Three Bridges provides not only great dishes but amazing views of the Resort. Guests can also have a great meal at Rix Sports Bar and Grill, Maya Grill, or Toledo located at the top of Gran Destino Tower. No matter what dining we feel like, it will be easy to find something at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and I am excited for that ease.

I can’t wait to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Typhoon Lagoon

Something different we are trying this trip is a visit to Typhoon Lagoon. Since it is summer and we know the temperature will be warm, a break in our Park days seems like a good plan. We visited Typhoon Lagoon a few years ago and I am excited to head back again.

This time we have rented a cabana for the group. With teens, I am looking forward to having a set meeting place where the moms can relax while the teens explore.

Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is well themed and has some fantastic rides along with the high thrill wave pool. Although I don’t plan on tackling it, I will gladly watch from the beach area.

After a few days in the Parks, I am looking forward to a nice, relaxing float on the lazy river.

Dining

It has been a while since we have scheduled sit down meals at Walt Disney World. When traveling as a whole family, we typically grab items and a quick service location and are on our way.

Knowing that it is going to be warm, I scheduled a couple table service meals to provide us with some air-conditioning during the day.

The first one I am extremely excited for is the character breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace. I have been wanting to try this amazing meal since it opened but it never fit into our plan. I will have my camera ready for those adorable meet and greet pictures.

Another meal we are looking forward to is at the Hollywood Brown Derby. Here I have scheduled a Fantasmic dining package. This will not only allow us to enjoy a great meal but also have preferred seating at Fantasmic.

I also look forward to that Mickey Pretzel in front of the castle! Those small moments are spectacular.

Nighttime shows

As we head back to Walt Disney World this summer, I am beyond excited to enjoy two amazing nighttime shows. I already mentioned Fantasmic at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. This is a fantastic show that combines outstanding storytelling with Disney magic.

Over at Magic Kingdom, I can’t wait to see Happily Ever After once again. This is my favorite nighttime show at Walt Disney World and I am thrilled to have it back once again.

I look forward to both of these shows and will have my kleenex ready.

New Rides

Finally, I am looking forward to experiencing new rides. Both Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT and TRON Lightcycle Run are new since my kids have visited. As they are both thrill seekers, I can’t wait for them to experience their fantastic, new rides.

I have yet to experience Tron Lightcycle Run so I am personally looking forward to this new Magic Kingdom coaster.

It might seem silly, but I am also looking forward to taking the iconic Walt Disney World Railroad around Magic Kingdom once again. This ride is an iconic part of Magic Kingdom and I look forward to experiencing it once again.

So yes, I am headed to Walt Disney World once again. And once again I am super excited for all the magic and fun that we will have while we are visiting. Each vacation to Walt Disney World is unique and special which is why I look forward to each trip that we are able to take. Our trip can’t get here fast enough.
