Indoor Activities

If you have tickets and Park pass reservations that you don’t want to go to waste because of the weather, look for the indoor options throughout all four Disney Parks.

Look to find the attractions that continue to run even in bad weather conditions. Many of the rides in Magic Kingdom’s Fantasyland are indoors making this land a good option when it rains. You can quickly move from ride to ride avoiding long periods of time outdoors.

In EPCOT, the Seas Pavilion is a fantastic place to wait out the rain. The aquarium has so much to see that Guests can have hours of fun. Bruce’s Play area is also fun for little ones to explore.

While in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, consider catching Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo: Big Blue and Beyond.  These are longer shows giving you a nice amount of time out of the weather.

Make sure you know where to find those indoor experiences so the weather will have less of an impact on your Park day.

Another great option for those less-than-pleasant days is to head to Disney Springs. Here you can enjoy a movie at the outstanding AMC theater.

Experience the amazing comfort of heated, reclining seats as you enjoy your movie.

For a truly breathtaking show, consider getting tickets to Drawn to Life the newest Cirque du Soleil show that takes place at Disney Springs. Go on a journey full of imagination and creativity as you enjoy the amazing talents of these performers.

You can also go bowling at Disney Springs. Splitsville Luxury Lanes is an expansive bowling alley that not only provides great entertainment but also good food.

All of these options at Disney Springs are great for those days full of rain. They provide great fun and excitement for the whole family.

Make sure when you are traveling to Walt Disney World that, bring plastic bags. These can be extremely helpful throughout the trip especially when it rains.

We like to have ziplocs to put our items in to keep them dry. It is also nice to have larger plastic bags to for backpacks or shoes when they get wet. It is amazon how many uses we can get out of ziplocs and plastic bags.
