Final Days: Disney Confirms Countdown Before Park’s 90% Transformation Unveiled

One Disney destination is preparing a major announcement next week as construction reshapes nearly 90% of the park.

For months, Disneyland Paris has been positioning its second gate — still officially called Walt Disney Studios Park for now — as the centerpiece of a sweeping redevelopment project. Nearly 90% is set to be reimagined overall, making it one of the most aggressive overhauls in Disney theme park history.

The scale alone has fueled anticipation among fans, who have followed every step of the resort’s multi-year plan to transition the park into an entirely new identity.

Disney Teases Brand-New Theme Park Developments

Disneyland Paris confirmed this week that an official reveal is coming in the next few days, pointing directly at updates tied to World of Frozen and the park’s soon-to-be-renamed second gate, Disney Adventure World. The land will become the third Frozen-themed area worldwide, following versions in Hong Kong and Tokyo.

The resort released a polished teaser video on Instagram, flying through World Premiere, the reimagined entrance space that replaced Studio 1 earlier this year.

The wide-angle shots highlight the new Main Street-style environment and the updated guest-flow design.

Most of the footage moves through the indoor World Premiere soundstage, offering a first look at the completed entrance plaza. A key visual shows a water tower stripped of its “Walt Disney Studios” lettering, reinforcing that the transformation is nearing its public debut.

The teaser provides a few additional clues, briefly showing a quick-service location and a merchandise shop inside the soundstage. Even so, fans immediately pivoted to the caption accompanying the clip.

According to Disneyland Paris, “a new adventure is about to begin,” signaling that the resort will announce the official opening date for World of Frozen on November 24 at 8 p.m. local time. The message quickly spread across fan forums and social media.

For U.S. viewers wanting to follow the reveal live, that timing corresponds to 2 p.m. Eastern and 11 a.m. Pacific, creating a rare moment when stateside fans can watch Disneyland Paris news unfold in real time.

A Pivotal Milestone in the Park’s 90% Transformation

The announcement holds additional significance: the debut of World of Frozen will coincide with the park’s official name change, completing its transition from the Walt Disney Studios Park to Disney Adventure World. The rebrand marks a symbolic end to the park’s original identity.

Disneyland Paris also teased “other exciting surprises about Disney Adventure World,” suggesting the reveal will extend well beyond a single opening date. It’s previously confirmed additional new rides inspired by Tangled (2010), Up (2009), and The Lion King (1994).

Guests previously knew only that World of Frozen would launch in Spring 2026. This update appears set to deliver the specific opening day, narrowing years of speculation to a concrete timeline.

The land will feature the resort’s own installation of Frozen Ever After, the water-based attraction already operating at Walt Disney World (where some think it’s overrated) and Hong Kong Disneyland, and at Tokyo DisneySea in a different iteration known as Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey.
