Value: Art of Animation

Our pick for families at the value level resorts is Disney’s Art of Animation. There are many reasons why we think that the Art of Animation is an excellent option for families.

The first reason we feel that Art of Animation is a good choice for families is the suites offered. Art of Animation provides suits with room for up to six adults and two bathrooms. A small kitchenette area provides a lovely dining table along with this extra space. This is an excellent layout for families that want a little extra room.

Another reason that families will love Art of Animation is because of the three well-themed pools. Art of Animation has the Big Blue Pool, which is Nemo themed and has music underwater. There is also a splash area for little ones here as well. Guests can also enjoy the Little Mermaid and Cars-themed pools in the other regions of the Resort. These are well-themed and a lot of fun.

The landscape of Flavors, Art of Animation’s fantastic food court, is another reason families will love their stay here. There are so many options to choose from throughout the day. From chicken nuggets to Mickey waffles, little ones will find their favorites, while adults can find more unique entrees.

The Disney Skyliner makes Art of Animation a top choice for families. This mode of transportation makes it easy for families to access both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. With the ability to roll strollers right onto the Skyliner, families can easily make their way to the Parks and home again.

Finally, the fantastic icons throughout the Resort make this a fun, magical Resort for families. Seeing some of our favorite characters found throughout the Resort is so much fun.

Deluxe: Disney’s Polynesian Resort

For our deluxe Disney Resort, we will choose Disney’s Polynesian Resort for families. This beautiful tropical Resort has a lot to offer families.

The location is why Disney’s Polynesian Resort is fantastic for families. If Magic Kingdom is going to be a focus of your trip, being at this Resort makes it super easy to get to and from the Magic Kingdom. Guests can take the monorail, boat, or even walk to and from Magic Kingdom. The monorail makes it super easy for those with strollers to roll onto and head to the magic.

Disney’s Polynesian Resort is also an excellent place for families because of the ability to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach. If you have little ones that need to be in their pj’s or back at the Resort early, it is nice that you can still enjoy some of the nighttime magic from the Resort. You can also see the evening water pageant on Seven Seas Lagoon.

The pools at Disney’s Polynesian Resort are also a big draw for families. The Lava Pool is the feature pool that has a fun slide. Right next door is a big play and splash area that will keep kids busy for hours. There is also a large quiet pool called the Oasis Pool. It is a large, vast pool that is a little deeper for those bigger kids to enjoy.

Finally, don’t forget the ability to get dole whip all day at Pineapple Lanai, located right off the main lobby and near the feature pool. Grab a sweet treat and enjoy the many activities throughout the Resort.

The beautiful Polynesian Resort is a fantastic option for families that want a magical experience.
