Mornings in EPCOT theme park are wonderful. We especially love to spend the morning strolling World Showcase. It’s a peaceful time to explore the sights in the Pavilions while the crowds are spending time in World Celebration (previously known as Future World), World Discovery, and World Nature. Meanwhile, Early Theme Park Entry also makes it easy to experience some of the most popular EPCOT attractions with a minimal wait. Test Track, Frozen Ever After, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and Soarin’ Around the World are popular attractions for Guests visiting EPCOT shortly after Park opens. Riding these attractions early in the day avoids clashes with your Boarding Group for Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, should you have secured a Virtual Queue reservation.
Early mornings in a Disney Park can work up an appetite, though. There are several great spots to stop at for breakfast in EPCOT. Here are the best places to get breakfast. Include these Disney dining locations during your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
Connections Cafe
Located in World Discovery, Connections Cafe is the place to visit if you need Starbucks Coffee. When visiting EPCOT, you won’t need to wait too long for your morning coffee. Connections Cafe opens at 8:30 a.m. for Early Theme Park Entry Guests. In addition to the wide selection of beverages available to order, several breakfast sandwiches and pastries are served here. If you enjoy the Liege Waffle at Connections Eatery, the good news is that it’s also available at Connections Cafe. Unfortunately, Connections Cafe doesn’t serve it with strawberries, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce. You’ll have to wait till 11 a.m. to place your order at Connections Eatery.
Crepes A Emporter by La Creperie de Paris
If you want to enjoy a quick-service breakfast close to the International Gateway at EPCOT, you’ll want to visit the France Pavilion. Crepes A Emporter by La Creperie de Paris serves up savory galettes and sweet crepes that the Brittany Region of France inspires. The quick-service restaurant opens at 9:15 a.m., making it a perfect place to stop after a morning ride on Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
La Creperie de Paris
For a table service restaurant, La Creperie de Paris is the place to visit in EPCOT. Similar to Crepes A Emporter, the Disney restaurant opens at 9:15 a.m. La Creperie de Paris serves various savory galettes and sweet crepes. Accompany your breakfast with your choice of beverage from an extensive menu, including hot, cold, and alcoholic beverages. The same menu is served throughout the day, making La Creperie de Paris a great spot to visit any time of the day. There is also a Prix-Fixe Menu available for $35.95. Guests can make an advanced dining reservation at La Creperie de Paris. Doing so will help to guarantee your dining experience during peak times of the day.
Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe
Have you heard of school bread and always wanted to try it? Then the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in the Norway Pavilion in EPCOT theme park is the place to find it. It’s an ideal place to stop after a successful Early Theme Park Entry morning. After riding Frozen Ever After, stop at the Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe to enjoy Norwegian specialties, including Norwegian Kringla, Rice Cream, and Eplekake. Order alongside a Joffrey’s Coffee, Kristoff Kaffe, or Viking Coffee. The Kringla Bakeri Of Kafe opens at 8:30 a.m. daily.
Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie
The France Pavilion in World Showcase has many dining locations to enjoy. You’ll find Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie at the end of the French street, passed the water fountains in the original part of the Pavilion. Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie has something for everyone. When looking for a savory breakfast, there is an extensive selection of fresh baguette sandwiches, soups, and salads. We particularly recommend ordering a freshly baked baguette that is served warm. If you’re looking for a sweet treat, there is a varied selection of pastries and delicacies typical for a French bakery. A selection of gourmet coffees, wine, champagne, and other beverages are available to order with your delectable treats.
Les Halles opens at 9 a.m. Guests can choose their items from the display fridges that they pass before reaching the register. There is indoor and outdoor seating available for Guests to use. We recommend getting to Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie close to the opening to avoid the long lines we have experienced at the quick-service restaurant. It’s certainly a popular spot with Disney Guests in the morning.
Other Options
Sunshine Seasons in The Land Pavilion opens from 9 a.m. daily. However, we prefer to skip this quick-serve dining location for breakfast, as the menu is better suited for lunch or dinner.Â
Should none of these restaurants take your fancy, or you’re looking to enjoy a late-morning breakfast in another part of Walt Disney World, there are several restaurants we highly recommend visiting a Disney Resort in the EPCOT area. All alternative restaurants are within a short walk or Disney Skyliner ride from World Showcase. Here are our restaurant recommendations:
- Ale & Compass at Disney’s Yacht Club – open from 7:30 a.m. for a Disney character meal.
- Cape May Cafe at Disney’s Beach Club – advance dining reservations are available for the character dining experience from 7:30 a.m.Â
- Topolino’s Terrace at Disney’s Riviera Resort – use the Disney Skyliner at EPCOT International Gateway.
- Carousel Coffee and the BoardWalk Deli at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn – both quick-service restaurants open from 7 a.m.
