As much as we love Frozen, the hype of this franchise has been accused of overstaying its welcome. When it was announced in 2014 that the classic Norway Pavilion ride, Maelstrom, was going to be replaced with a Frozen dark ride, the response was mixed. While I also have mixed feelings about EPCOT moving towards film-centered attractions, I can’t deny this fact. Frozen Ever After is a masterpiece that paints a glorious future for dark rides yet to come.
The storyline for this attraction is simple and sweet. In honor of Anna’s act of true love, Queen Elsa has decided to throw Arendelle an Official Summer Snow Day! On this journey, travelers will see beloved characters, hear familiar songs, and explore an Elsa-approved winter wonderland. Let us count the reasons why this Arendelle adventure is a “must-do”.
