Take These Risks During Your Next Disney Trip

If you have been to Walt Disney World a few times in the past few years, we are going to challenge you to take a few risks during your next Walt Disney World trip.  These risks are super scary but are ways to mix up your Disney vacation and add a fresh feel to it.

Take a look at these risks and then challenge yourself to take one on during your next Walt Disney World vacation.

Stay at a NEW Resort

Walt Disney World has so many amazing Resorts to choose from in a variety of categories: value, moderate, or deluxe.  If you have a Resort or two that have become your favorite, we challenge you to take a risk and try staying at a different Disney Resort.

See the difference between the three Disney Resort categories HERE and then consider trying a new option.  By trying out a new Resort, you will be able to experience Disney magic in a whole new area.  Try out new dining, new pools, and even new transportation.

Always stay near Magic Kingdom, switch it up, and try staying near EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  Check out the newer tower at Gran Destino Tower for a deluxe feel at a moderate price.

There are so many amazing Disney Resorts to experience that we really suggest taking the risk and staying somewhere new.  If you don’t want to give up your favorite, think about doing a split stay so you can have what is familiar along with something new.

New Dining

We all have our favorite snack or meal at Walt Disney World; however, we recommend taking a risk and checking out a new restaurant during your next Disney vacation.  There are so many outstanding options that if you don’t try new places you are really missing out.

From new dining options such as Space 220 or Steakhouse 71 to iconic options that are back like Chef Mickeys or Garden Grill, step out of your routine and try something new.

If you are more of a quick service person, try a new location or even a new entree at your favorite place.  By mixing it up, you might find a new favorite.

There are so many outstanding dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that we say take the risk and try to find something new.

Skip the Parks

This might seem silly when you are heading to Walt Disney World in order to experience the four main theme parks; however, if you have gone before, taking the risk of skipping the Parks for a day can bring some magical experiences as well.

There is so much to do at Walt Disney World outside the four main theme parks that you won’t be bored.  If you are still wanting to be in a Park, consider heading to one of the water parks.  Both Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach are a lot of fun and a great way to experience Disney magic and themes in a new way.

Disney Springs

Disney Springs has really become an exciting place to visit during a Walt Disney World vacation with outstanding shopping and some of the best dining options in Walt Disney World.  Take a day to visit the shops and enjoy amazing food.

Take time to hang out at your Disney Resort. Enjoy the pool, dining options, and activities that take place throughout the day.   Check out the recreation options at your Disney Resort as there are always fun activities happening from movies under the stars to arts and crafts.

You can also visit other Disney Resorts and check out the shops and dining that they have to offer.  A lot of the Deluxe Disney Resorts have lounges that offer fantastic drinks and some good people watching.

If you are looking for more active options, Disney has both regular golf courses and mini-golf courses on property that are fun for the whole family.  Guests can also enjoy activities such as bike riding, fishing, and boat ride at a variety of the different Disney Resorts.

Take the risk during your next Walt Disney World vacation by planning a non-park day.  You might just find your favorite activity.

Slow Down

This is a hard loss and a big risk for many of us no matter how many times we visit Walt Disney World.  A vacation to Walt Disney World is not normally a slow-paced vacation as we rush to try to experience as much as we can, but take the risk and take time to slow down during your next vacation to Disney.

Consider taking breaks if that isn’t something that you normally do during your vacation.  Visit different Resorts or hang out at the pool.  Even if you don’t want to leave the Parks, there are a lot of areas where you can enjoy a break and relax.

Enjoy an extra snack, people watch, or stop and enjoy the magical entertainment that pops up throughout the Parks.  These are such talented Cast Members and are worth experiencing.

By slowing down, you might enjoy even more of the magic that the Parks have to offer.

Change Your Routine

Finally, if you go down a lot of Walt Disney World you probably have a routine.  Take the risk and mix up that routine.  If you have never rope dropped a Theme Park, consider trying it out one day.  Never stayed late?  Try hanging out after the fireworks for a while.

Do you always tour the Disney Park the same way hitting the same rides in the same order?  Consider mixing up your plans to change up your routine for something a little different.  You never know your new experience might be the new routine.

We are grateful that we are able to visit Walt Disney World so often, but with that, we sometimes need to take some risks and try new things.  What risk will you be taking during your next Walt Disney World vacation?
