Little Ones Can Have Fun in Disney Too

A lot of parents want to make sure that they take their kids to Walt Disney World at the perfect age.  The reality is that there is not a perfect time, but each trip to Disney no matter what age will be filled with magical memories.

Some might think that little ones won’t be able to do a lot in Walt Disney World; however, that isn’t the case.  There are a lot of experiences that little babies and toddlers can enjoy in Walt Disney World.  We are going to break down some of the top experiences that can be enjoyed by little visitors as well in all four Theme Parks.

Magic Kingdom

There are numerous rides in Magic Kingdom that little ones can enjoy with their families.  This is the Disney Park that probably offers the most for little ones to experience throughout their visit.

Starting in Tomorrowland, little ones can enjoy a ride on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Work with Buzz to defeat the evil Zurg. Head into Monster’s Inc Laugh Floor, where Mike and friends work to gather laughs.

After Tomorrowland, you can head to Adventureland where little ones can enjoy Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin. These are all rides that the whole family can enjoy.

Frontierland offers Country Bear Jamboree, and Liberty Square has the Haunted Mansion and Hall of Presidents. Once you have enjoyed these lands, you can spend most of your time in Fantasyland, where there are numerous rides that little ones will find fascinating.

Fly over London on Peter Pan’s Flight. Bounce around with Tigger on Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Sing along on it’s small world and choose the best horse on Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. Don’t miss out on Under the Sea- Journey of the Little Mermaid as it is tucked behind the Seven Dwarf Mine Train.

Finally, make sure you pop over to ride Dumbo. Depending on how mobile your little one is, you can also check out Tom Sawyer Island if they want to run or if they need a quiet place to relax. Think about Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress.

Magic Kingdom truly has what might seem like an endless option when it comes to experiences for little ones to enjoy. This is why families with little ones tend to spend most of their vacations at Magic Kingdom.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

In Disney’s Animal Kingdom little ones will be able to enjoy visiting all of the many animals that make the Park home.

For rides, we would start with Kilimanjaro Safari.  On this ride, they can get up close to some amazing animals like never before. They will be able to see giraffes, rhinos, elephants, zebras, and more during this safari adventure.

When you wrap up the safari, little ones will enjoy a stroll around on one of the many trails. Discovery Island Trails take you around the magnificent Tree of Life, where Maharajah Jungle Trek is where you can find the tigers and Gorilla Trails hosts the gorillas. These are self-paced trails, so spend as much or as little time as you wish.

Take a gentle boat ride on Living with the Land over in the Land Pavilion, where they can see all sorts of plants and fish that Disney is growing right in EPCOT.

Don’t miss Elsa and Anna on Frozen Ever After back in Norway. If they know this storyline, they will love seeing Olaf, Sven, and friends on this adventure. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure will be coming very soon which will allow the whole family to be shrunk to the size of a rat so they can rush through Gusto’s kitchen alongside Remy and their friends.

If your little one needs some downtime, there are multiple films throughout EPCOT’s World Showcase. These are great ways to get out of the sun and crowds and enjoy some air conditioning. You can find movies in the American, French, China, and Canada pavilions.

EPCOT provides both fun and educational experiences for Guests both big and small.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, little ones will love seeing Andy’s backyard in Toy Story Land.

Toy Story Mania is fun for the whole family. Families can compete against one another as they aim to increase their scores in different interactive situations based on Toy Story. Although the little ones might not grasp the concept, they will still enjoy the larger-than-life Toy Story characters.

The newest attraction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is perfect for little ones, and this is Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway. The whole family can enjoy this outstanding attraction featuring Mickey and friends. The beautiful colors and music will have little ones super excited and wanting to see it again.

The other experiences in Disney’s Hollywood Studios that little ones will like are shows. Right now, you can enjoy For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along, Beauty & the Beast Live on Stage, Disney Jr. Dance Party, and Lightning McQueen Racing Academy. These shows are fantastic for little ones as they are upbeat and full of music, singing, and dancing.

Although there are only two ride-like attractions for little ones in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the shows are perfect for young Disney fans.

If you are worried about your little one not having anything to do when in Walt Disney World, we hope that this helps you realize that there are so many magical moments that little ones will be able to do in Walt Disney World.
