Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Get excited to see Mickey Mouse in his safari gear at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  We love seeing him dressed up and ready for adventure.

For a fun experience with safari Mickey and friends, Guests can look at booking dining reservations at Tusker House.  This dining location in Disney’s Animal Kingdom provides Guests with a variety of cuisine from Africa and America.

Mickey and friends (usually Donald, Minnie Mouse and Daisy) will circulate around the dining room posing at a distance for pictures.

Another great way to see Mickey Mouse in Disney’s Animal Kingdom is by watching for the different flotillas.

Mickey joins friends on a pontoon boat as they travel around on the Discovery River.  You can see them from a variety of locations in Disney’s Animal Kingdom such as the Nomad Lounge, Discovery Trails or even Flame Tree Barbecue.

You can find the schedule for this on the My Disney Experience app if you are wanting to make sure you see it.

On Commissary Lane, Guests can meet Mickey at the Red Carpet Dreams.  Sometimes you can find Mickey dressed as Sorcerer Mickey at this location.  A fun opportunity to get a unique picture.

Over at Hollywood and Vine, Guests can enjoy some delicious food while hanging out with Mickey Mouse as Minnie Mouse herself hosts a fun celebration with her Minnie’s Seasonal Dining for lunch and supper.

Throughout the year Minnie Mouse and friends (including Mickey Mouse) celebrate different holiday seasons.  They dress their best for each season making it a great spot to snag some adorable photos.

Mickey Mouse actually seems hidden in EPCOT and not many Guests know where to find him.  Over in the new World Celebration neighborhood, Guests can find Mickey Mouse in his classic red, black and yellow.

Mickey Mouse is greeting Guests inside the Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival.  If you don’t take time to head inside this building, you would never know that the main mouse himself is there hanging out.

This is a great location if you are wanting a longer time with Mickey as there typically isn’t a long wait to see him.

Garden Grill is another option for seeing Mickey Mouse in EPCOT and this time it is in his farmer gear.  Chip and Dale host both lunch and supper at this fun, rotating dining option in the Land Pavilion.

While enjoying a family-style meal together, families can have a great time saying hello to Mickey Mouse as he visits throughout the restaurant.

Outside of the Disney Parks

For Guests that might want to spend their time in the Disney Parks riding rides instead of meeting characters, there are options outside of the four Theme Parks as ways to meet Mickey Mouse in a fun, energetic environment.

Over at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Guests can say hello to Mickey and friends as they host breakfast and dinner at Chef Mickey’s.

At Chef Mickey’s Guests can enjoy a variety of delicious food items as Mickey Mouse, dressed in his chef outfit complete with an adorable apron and chef hat, parades around the dining area making sure Guests have a wonderful time.

Another delightful option for seeing Mickey Mouse outside of the Theme Park is by visiting Disney’s Riviera Resort.  At breakfast, Guests can enjoy a spectacular meal at Topolino’s Terrace complete with distant visits from Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Donald Duck.

The great thing about this dining experience, besides the amazing views and excellent food, is the adorable outfits that the characters wear.  We absolutely love seeing Mickey Mouse as a painter, Donald Duck as a sculpture, Daisy Duck in her ballet outfit and Minnie Mouse getting ready to write poetry.

When visiting Walt Disney World, there are so many times that you are able to see Mickey Mouse.  Whether it is in a one-on-one meet and greet or at a meal, it is so much fun to take time during a Disney vacation to say hello.
