Unsanitary Disney Moment: Parent Allows Child to Urinate in Park Walkway

Sometimes, some seriously questionable behavior interrupts the “Most Magical Place on Earth”! One recent story from a Central Florida Disney Park guest sheds light on an unforgettable and unsanitary moment in Fantasyland at Walt Disney World Resort.

Josie (@Gaspar_theGhost) recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to recall an incident she witnessed over a decade ago at Magic Kingdom Park. In her story, she described watching a mother hold out her young daughter, who appeared to be about three years old, allowing the child to relieve herself directly onto a bustling walkway near “it’s a small world” in Fantasyland.

Ironically, this unhygienic moment happened in the exact spot where the Tangled (2010)-themed restrooms now stand in Fantasyland—built in 2013, just a few years too late to prevent this mishap!

Surprisingly, this wasn’t an isolated incident! Over the years, Disney Parks have seen a few similar moments that make guests and cast members cringe. In 2017, for instance, an intoxicated man was arrested after he urinated on a Florida police officer’s leg while resisting arrest at Walt Disney World Resort.

Just days ago, Disney Tips reported on a grandmother who allowed her grandchild to relieve themselves on thousands of dollars worth of other guests’ strollers. When a concerned bystander intervened, the child reportedly urinated on her, too. Talk about a mess!

If you ever come across inappropriate or unsanitary behavior in a Disney Park, the best course of action is to notify a cast member. Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort have dedicated custodial and security teams trained to handle such situations with care and professionalism.
