Disney Parks Provides an Exclusive, Detailed Look at Christmas Decor for 2023
Just hear those sleigh bells ring-a-ling…you know what time it is! Christmas has officially arrived at Disney Parks! The screams are done, and the snow is falling (not really but we can dream), as Santa Claus, Mickey Mouse, and more prepare to celebrate the big day at Disneyland and Walt Disney World!
Christmas at Disney is a special time of year. Parks like Disneyland, California Adventure, Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT become festive playplaces rivaling that of the North Pole, adorned with beautiful decorations, holiday-exclusive treats, and jolly music.
Christmas at Walt Disney World
Both coasts get in on the festive fun. At Disney World, the premier event is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but don’t forget about the inaugural “Jollywood” Nights premiering at Hollywood Studios this year. As well you’ll also find the International Festival of the Holidays providing sweet eats and fancy treats at EPCOT, which will also bring back the extremely popular Candlelight Processional. Don’t think Animal Kingdom forgot it’s the holiday season; experience the magic of the holidays in an all-new way as you are delighted to beautiful decor and adorable Christmas fur babies as you enter the park.
Don’t have a theme park ticket? No worries, enjoy cookies and spiced drinks as you check out the beautiful gingerbread displays at various resorts or the highly themed trees at Disney Springs. Be sure to give Santa a visit while you’re there! He’ll be happy to let you now if you’ve been a good boy or girl! All of Walt Disney World gets in on the holiday happenings this time of year, and despite rather warm temperatures, you’ll be at your merriests in the “most magical place on Earth.”
During Disney World’s Christmas party, guests can expect a festive good time, complete with holiday layovers to popular attractions like Space Mountain. Parades, music, and exclusive shopping opportunities exist, and you’re not going to want to miss out, as this year’s slate of Christmas goodies are to-die-for.
Christmas at Disneyland
Not to be outdone, the original Disney park is no Grinch when it comes to celebrating Christmas either. Despite her size compared to Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom, Sleeping Beauty’s abode just received a fresh paint job, including a few snow caps that’ll send a wintery chill up your spine.
Guest to Disney’s California Adventure can also take in the sights and sounds of the Latin-based holiday celebration Disney ¡Viva Navidad! According to Disney Parks, Guests can revel in authentic holiday music, dance, décorwith a dash of Disney magic. We all know the Cars area of California Adventure is some of the best theming Disney Imagineers have ever done, but you have to see it at Christmas! It’s gorgeous, complete with Mater’s Jingle Jamboree and Joy to the Whirl.
Of course Disneyland is where the action is this holiday season. it’s a small world gets its annual makeover, featuring stunning displays and fun holidays songs. As well, don’t miss out on the Haunted Mansion Holiday featuring Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, and the rest of the gang from Tim Burton’s Nightmare Before Christmas (1993).
Decor at Disney
It doesn’t matter if you’re at Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios this holiday season, there’s so much to see and do. Disney Parks knows how to do the holidays right! Depiste the parades, candy, fabulous food and drink, Santa Claus, and so much more, one thing Disney doesn’t skimp on is Christmas decorations.
All throughout any theme park, you’ll be treated to a winter spectacle of beautifully crafted decor, highlighted with lights and sometimes even snow! Seriously, the Christmas decorations at Disney are unmatched during the holidays, absolutely worthy or snapping a photo or two.
The best part about the Christmas decorations is that you don’t have to have a ticket to “Jollywood” Nights or Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party to enjoy them! Day guests to Magic Kingdom, Disneyland, or any other theme park can bast in the glory of the holidays while getting into the Christmas spirit.
