Are You Brave Enough to Take These Risks During Your Next Disney Vacation?
If you have been able to visit Walt Disney World multiple times, we have some risks we would like to challenge you to take during your next Disney trip. Don’t worry, these aren’t anything too crazy. They are meant to push you slightly outside of your comfort zone so you can experience more of the Disney magic.
New Disney Resort
We all have our favorite Disney Resorts that we tend to stay at each Disney vacation (hello Gran Destino Tower). The first risk we are going to challenge you to do is to stay at a different Walt Disney World Resort. Even if it isn’t for your whole Disney vacation, consider trying out a new Disney Resort for a few days of your trip.
Think about trying a few days at a Deluxe Resort so you can enjoy some of the additional perks such as extended evening hours at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT.
Next stayed at a skyliner Resort? Consider trying out an evening at Disney’s Caribbean Beach so you have quick access to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.
Walt Disney World has so many amazing Resorts that offer so many magical stays. Push yourself to try out a new one for part of your Disney stay. You might just find a new favorite.
Skip the Parks
We know this might seem strange, but Disney magic expands beyond the four Disney Parks. Take the risk of not visiting a Disney Park at all one day. Not even having a Disney Park ticket or Park Reservation, will push you to explore some of the many other magical experiences throughout the Walt Disney World Property.
If your family enjoys swimming, consider visiting one of the two water parks. This is sort of cheating, but the water parks are a great option for some fun and many Guests don’t take the time to enjoy them.
For a variety of options, consider hanging out at Disney Springs. Not only can you shop all day, but some of the best dining at Walt Disney World is found in Disney Springs.
For another option, think about visiting some of the many other Walt Disney World Resorts. Take time to explore the shops and eat at the many different Resorts. This is a fun way to explore different parts of Walt Disney World.
Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is a fantastic Resort to explore. From the Disney horses to eat at the newly opened Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, there is so much to explore at this amazing and unique Resort.
Active Guests can enjoy time hitting the different golf courses. Kids can even enjoy the well-themed mini golf courses. Bike rentals and boat rentals are also offered at specific Resorts throughout Walt Disney World.
Although it might be hard to stay away from the Disney Parks if you don’t explore some of the other magical experiences at Disney you are missing out.
Take a Resort Day
As we have mentioned before, we are big fans of the outstanding Resorts at Walt Disney World. Take the risk of having a whole day exploring and enjoying your Disney Resort.
Each day there are activities such as crafts or pool games that Guests can participate in. There is also often a movie under the stars. Watching a Disney movie while at Disney is pretty magical.
Take time to slow down and enjoy all of those amenities that are offered. Enjoy the pools and dining options that you might otherwise miss out on if you are constantly running to the Disney Parks.
Dine at a New Place
Like with Disney Resorts, it is easy to get into a rut and eat at the same places each and every Disney vacation. We challenge you to try something new. This could be a new snack, new quick-service, or new table service meal.
Walt Disney World offers so many dining options throughout the Disney Resorts, Disney Springs, and the four Disney Parks that Guests are really missing out if they aren’t trying something new.
Luckily Disney has made this easy as they keep opening new, outstanding dining options. Recently EPCOT opened the new Connections Cafe & Eatery, a quick service location that is getting outstanding reviews.
Space 220 and Steakhouse 71 are two table service locations that Guests are raving about.
Take time during your trip to explore something new when it comes to your dining choices. You might find your new favorite dish.
Slow Down
This risk summarizes all our other points well and that is to slow down during your next Disney vacation. We know that when visiting Walt Disney World it is easy to get wrapped up in rushing from ride to ride in a Disney Park. Instead of focusing on this, we challenge you to slow down.
Take time even in the Disney Parks to enjoy the magic that is all around. Hang out on the hub grass in Magic Kingdom, explore the trails in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and take in the countries around the World Showcase. These are all ways to enjoy and experience the Disney magic without rushing.
Sometimes when we are rushing from experience to experience in a Disney Park we miss out on the magic right in front of us.
How many of these risks will you be able to take during your next Walt Disney World vacation? We encourage you to try to challenge yourself to at least one of them during your next Disney trip.
