10 Most Beautiful Sights in Walt Disney World You Can’t Miss

There is no happier environment like that of the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether you are out on a honeymoon, relaxing with friends and family, or flying solo, you should always stop to admire your enviroment. Each location on property is so intricately designed by Imagineers, that it is bound to leave a lasting impact on your heart for years to come. Here are ten of the most beautiful sights in Walt Disney World.

10. The Seven Seas Lagoon

This gorgeous lake overlooking the Magic Kingdom is an absolute spectacle at any time of the day. Best visible if you are on a ferry transport, the sun glistens against the water to produce a shining marvel. At night, entertainment boats drift across the lagoon, displaying dancing lights. This amazing sight is accompanied by classical Disney tunes. If the line at the main entrance is congested, one can pass the time (and keep their calm) by gazing upon this beautiful lagoon.

8. Tree of Life

In the heart of Animal Kingdom, the Tree of Life stands taller than any other. With over three hundred animals intricately carved into its bark, you can spend hours exploring this breathtaking piece of Disney history. The tree is extremely photogenic from every angle. This is why there are multitudes of Photopass opportunities scattered throughout the park. At the base of the tree, reside several enclosures of live creatures, including lemurs, tortoises, and flamingos. A pinnacle piece of Mother Nature’s beauty and humanity’s ingenuity, the Tree of Life is a must see for every Disney explorer and animal lover.

7. Spaceship Earth

Once you enter Disney’s Epcot, you will first encounter Spaceship Earth, the most iconic monument of the entire park. This eighteen-story, geodesic sphere is an architectural marvel. 11,448 triangular tiles piece together this astounding sight. Much like the Tree of Life, Spaceship Earth is incredibly photogenic. The tremendous golf ball can be photographed from any angle, and still maintain its spectacular prowess. Once the park closes, the sphere will illuminate and lasers will flash against it, bidding you farewell and goodnight.

6. World Showcase Lagoon

Just beyond Spaceship Earth is another iconic piece of Epcot’s popularity. The World Showcase Lagoon is a wondrous visual from each and every country represented around it. For an even closer look at this lagoon, you can ride a boat across the country pavilions. At night, the true amazement starts when Epcot proudly presents Illuminations: Reflections of Earth. This riveting, firework performance is accompanied by dazzling lasers, fountains, and empowering instrumentals. The show can be experienced from anywhere around the lagoon, and definitely makes the World Showcase a must see spectacle.

5. Wilderness Lodge

Hidden in through thick forests and a lush country atmosphere, the Wilderness Lodge is one of Disney’s most well-detailed resorts. This celebration of the American Northwest makes one feel as if they are isolated in the great outdoors. From hiking trails to peaceful creeks, staying at this resort would make you completely forget the Magic Kingdom is just beyond the lake. Wilderness Lodge is a vivid and robust resort that is enough to take your breath (and your cares) away.

4. Grand Floridian

Situated directly across from the Magic Kingdom is this palace of a resort. The Grand Floridian is an extraordinary and expansive hotel with an elegant, Victorian design. The resort’s lush gardens and field areas brighten during the day. The view that completes the Grand can be seen from its marina, where you can spot Magic Kingdom, the Polynesian Resort, and the Contemporary Resort all in one. No matter the occasion, the Grand Floridian is always a powerful sight to behold.

3. Characters in Flight at Disney Springs

During your next trip to Disney Springs, be sure to hitch a ride on “Characters in Flight.” This is the world’s largest tethered helium balloon, and it will take you up 400 feet to present a grand view of the entire property. This attraction costs twelve dollars for children and eighteen for adults. Those with acrophobia should certainly not ride.

2. The Great Movie Ride

In the center of Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a massive replica of the Chinese Theater. This regal tribute to cinema is an excellent photo opportunity, especially at night. Once the sun sets, the theater lights up, adding that special spotlight effect for future stars.

1. Cinderella’s Castle

There is no greater sight to behold than that of Cinderella’s world famous castle. This amazing landmark has become the icon of all things Disney, and will always be a fan favorite. Countless couples have even had their proposals before this gorgeous castle. Whether it’s shining in the morning sun or glowing during the nighttime performances, Cinderella’s castle is the ultimate must see.

Always make time on your Disney trip to stop and admire the scenery. You’re on vacation after all. What better way to both lose and find yourself than to behold the beauty of Disney?
