Crowds Are Back

Although most of us don’t want to acknowledge this fact, the reality is that crowds are back at Walt Disney World.  If 2021-2022 has taught us anything, it is that people are back to traveling and Disney continues to be a top destination.

Don’t let this scare you out of booking a trip to Walt Disney World in 2023.  Instead, go on your trip prepared for crowds.  How to Disney has a lot of suggestions on how to battle crowds.  Take time to look through those suggestions and figure out what will work for your family.

Crowds also mean that you will want to book early.  The earlier you book your vacation the more choice you will have when it comes to your Walt Disney World Resort, dining, Park passes, and more.

2023 is sure to bring crowds to Walt Disney World.  Go in prepared and you will still have a fantastic time.

New Dining Options

For those that haven’t been to Disney in a while, there are a lot of new dining experiences to check out in 2023.  If you haven’t already tried some of the new options already opened, we highly recommend starting there.  Space 220, Steakhouse 71, and Connections Cafe and Eatery have quickly become top dining locations throughout Walt Disney World.

We are also really excited about the new Roundup Rodeo coming to Toy Story Land at the end of this year.  We look forward to this new, fun-themed dining location that will be a welcome relief from the heat in this area of Disney Park.  Know this will be extremely popular, so make sure that you get those reservations early once an opening date is announced.

When planning a trip for 2023, make sure you have a plan when it comes to dining.  There are so many excellent options that you will want to have some plans so you don’t miss anything.

50th Celebration Will Wrap Up

Walt Disney World started celebrating 50 years on October 1st, 2021.  We have seen this celebration continue throughout 2022; however, it will wrap up in 2023.

The celebration brought in new EARidecent outfits for Mickey Mouse and friends, new night times shows in Disney Enchantment and Harmonious as well as the Beacons of Magic at all four Disney Parks.

If you are heading down in 2023, be prepared that as of right the 50th celebration is supposed to wrap up in March 2023.  For those that have vacations planned towards the end of 2023, you might not see some of the 50th celebrations around the Disney Parks anymore.

Experiences

2023 will be filled with new and exciting experiences! For those that haven’t already experienced the new Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind in EPCOT or even Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you will be in for a thrilling time.

We are also very hopeful that both TRON Lightcyle Run as well the beloved Walt Disney World Railroad will open in Magic Kingdom.  It would be fantastic if all Guests traveling in 2023 could experience these attractions.

EPCOT is hoping to have the new neighborhoods up and ready, as well as Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, opened.  We are again hopeful we can experience these in 2023.
