Top Restaurants to Visit in Disney World During 2022

Walt Disney World has really stepped up the food during these last few years.  We love all the new dining options coming to both the Disney Parks and the Disney Resorts and we are thrilled that so many of our favorites are back as well.

As you start to plan where you want to eat during your Walt Disney World vacation, we have the top restaurants that we think Guests should enjoy in 2022.  Some of these are new and some of these are old standby options that remain magical each and every time we visit.

Remember, a lot of these dining options are extremely popular so you will want to make sure you are booking your dining reservations 60 days prior to your Walt Disney World vacation through the My Disney Experience app.

Let’s take a look at the top options in 2022.

Space 220- EPCOT

One of the most popular new dining options is found in EPCOT.  Space 220 is an out-of-this-world dining experience that takes Guests 220 miles above Earth where they can see our planet like never before.

Guests board a space elevator in order to travel up to the dining area that is open for lunch and supper.  These meals are prix-fixe where Guests are able to experience either two or three-course meals depending on when they eat.

There is also a lounge area that also takes dining reservations but doesn’t require the prix-fixe menu.  Experiencing the lounge is a great way to enjoy the experience without the price.

Space 220 is a truly unique dining experience that should be visited during Walt Disney World.

Le Creperie de Paris– France Pavilion, EPCOT

Another new and exciting dining option found in EPCOT is the creperie found in the France Pavilion.  Guests are given two ways to experience both the sweet and savory crepes here.

The first way is by stopping by the quick-service window called Crepes A Emporter.  This allows you to grab those crepes and take them on the go.

If Guests are wanting more of a sit-down experience, they can book a dining reservation at Le Creperie de Paris.

Make sure you take a look at the menus offered as there are different crepes at each of them.

Topolino’s Terrace- Disney’s Riviera Resort

One of the best character meals on the property right now is found at Topolino’s Terrace at the amazing breakfast.  Not only does this dining location offer amazing views of Walt Disney World, but the food is also delicious and the characters are adorable.

Guests get to meet Daisy, Donald, Mickey, and Minnie at this breakfast all wearing their adorable French-inspired outfits.  Daisy is a ballerina, Mickey a sculpture, Donald a painter, and Minnie a poet.

Now that meet-and-greets are back to normal, this meal is even more magical as you can get pictures with characters 1:1 and even get autographs.

This is an extremely popular dining location so make sure you are on at the 60-day mark.

Steakhouse 71- Disney’s Contemporary Resort

The Wave at Disney’s Contemporary Resort was a fan favorite for years and now Steakhouse 71 replaced it in October 2021 to celebrate the 50th anniversary continues to be a fantastic choice for those looking for an outstanding meal outside of the Disney Parks.

Guests are raving about the excellent food choices as well as the amazing atmosphere at Steakhouse 71.  Enjoy a meal any time of day here with a quick walk or a monorail ride from Magic Kingdom.

There is also a lounge option if you are looking for something faster and lighter as well.  Like with Nomad Lounge, no reservations at the lounge but you can walk up.

Jiko and Boma- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Two outstanding dining options at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge are back and we couldn’t be more thrilled.

Boma is a buffet that offers fantastic choices featuring delicious entrees and soups with African flavors that are some of the best we’ve had in Walt Disney World.

Jiko is the signature dining option at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and has some of the most amazing entrees, wines, and best overall dining experience you can find in Walt Disney World.

Not only do you get to experience the beautiful Resort, and see the amazing animals, but you also can experience some delicious and unique foods at these two dining locations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Grand Floridian Cafe- Disney’s Grand Floridian

Our final choice is a sleeper hit but one that Disney pros have come to love.  Disney’s Grand Floridian Cafe offers an amazing menu that is both comfort food and unique.  We love the brunch menu that allows Guests to enjoy beloved Mickey waffles or a lobster burger.

This is now an easy walk or a boat or monorail ride from Magic Kingdom making it a quick and easy option for a delicious meal during your Magic Kingdom Park days.

During the holidays, this becomes a lot more popular as Guests want to visit the beautiful Resort to see all the outstanding decorations.

These are currently some of the top restaurants to visit in Walt Disney World during your 2022 visit.  They offer not only delicious foods but a unique atmosphere with beautiful views.  Where will you go in 2022 for a meal?
