9. Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid
“The Little Mermaid” is one of the most beloved Disney movies of all time, so it’s fitting that it got its own attraction when Fantasyland was expanded. Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid takes you into the ocean and back to land in your own traveling clamshell. The ride takes you through favorite scenes in the movie with their memorable songs. The figures in this ride were a new challenge for Disney Imagineers, as they had to make their first animatronic hair for Ariel’s underwater scenes. And of course you’ll see Prince Eric, Sebastian, Flounder, and an absolutely huge Ursula!
