Top Disney Lounges You Won’t Want To Miss

In the last few years, Walt Disney World has really stepped up its game when it comes to lounges throughout the Walt Disney World properties.  Guests can now enjoy well-themed lounges at the Disney Parks as well as at the Disney Resorts.

Lounges are a great option for having a relaxing meal, enjoying a drink, or getting out of the heat and crowds during the day.  Many of the great lounges found around Walt Disney World are connected to an amazing Disney restaurant.  Because of this, the food served at the lounge is often some of the same options provided at the connecting table service restaurant.

For those of us that might not want to do a table service meal, but would like to enjoy some of the food, the Disney lounges are a fantastic option.

Let’s take a look at some of the top lounges at Walt Disney World right now.

Nomad Lounge- Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The first lounge we are going to mention is Nomad Lounge in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  Located on the path to Pandora and next door to the signature restaurant Tiffins, Nomad Lounge is truly an oasis.

With both outdoor and indoor seating, the lounge is the perfect place to escape the heat, relax, have a refreshing cocktail and enjoy the beauty of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  The menu here is fantastic offering a variety of great appetizers with fresh and unique flavors from around the world.

Nomad Lounge gets extremely busy so you might want to consider rope dropping when it opens to get in or at least get on the waitlist.

A new lounge that just recently opened up is Steakhouse 71 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.  This lounge is connected to the new restaurant with the same name.  A throwback to when Walt Disney World opened in 1971, this lounge is filled with great photos showing the history of Disney Park.

Not only are there a variety of drinks to choose from, but the lounge bites are fantastic as well.  The unique PB&J chicken wings have quickly become a fan favorite as has the Steakhouse burger.  If you aren’t able to snag the hard-to-get reservation to Steakhouse 71, consider trying out the lounge next door.
