Our Top Two Rides in Each Walt Disney World Park

The four Theme Parks at the Walt Disney World Resort have so many amazing experiences to choose from when visiting.  From outstanding rides that thrill seekers will love to classic attractions that we have enjoyed since we were little ones, Walt Disney World has something for everyone.

When we sit back and look at what each Walt Disney World Theme Park has to offer, we thought it would be fun to think about our top two attractions at each Disney Park.  If we were short on time, what two attractions in each Disney Park would be our go to?

Take a look at our choices when it comes to rides in Disney World and see if you would agree with us or if you would be heading somewhere else on your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Starting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom where there aren’t as many rides to choose from, but those that are there are extremely unique in what they have to offer.

Avatar:  Flight of Passage would be our first ride choice when visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  This ride connects us to our very own banshee as we prepare to fly around the beautiful and dangerous world of Pandora.

The way this ride truly makes us feel like we are flying around Pandora is breathtaking each and every time we ride.  We love seeing something new each time we ride and that makes it truly magical.

Kilimanjaro Safari is the second ride we would choose in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.  This ride is one that we can’t experience anywhere else in the US and is different each and every time we ride.

We love how we are able to see such a variety of animals during the ride as they interact in a natural environment.  There is something truly amazing about having giraffes and rhinos so close.

Kilimanjaro Safari is a ride experience that we feel shouldn’t be missed while in Walt Disney World.  It shows the effort and work that Disney is doing when it comes to animal conservation as well as the amazing skill of Disney to bring it to Guests.

EPCOT

A lot like Disney’s Animal Kingdom, EPCOT doesn’t have a lot of rides to choose from, but there are some great options within what is offered.

Remy's Ratatouille Adventure

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure is our first choice for one of our two rides in EPCOT.  This is the newest ride to join EPCOT and because of this we continue to want to experience it each visit.

Getting shrunk down to the size of Remy as we race through the famous Gusteu’s kitchen.  We pick this ride because it is one the whole family can laugh and enjoy together.

There are new hidden features and new elements we pick out each time we ride and we find it enjoyable over and over again.

Spaceship Earth is our surprising second choice in EPCOT.  We know that many would choose the thrill of Test Track or even flying high with Soarin, but there is something special about a ride on Spaceship Earth each EPCOT visit.

We love how Disney has brought historical events to life in the ride as they tell the story of how communication has grown over time.  We know that there are parts that need to be updated, but we enjoy having a relaxing ride on Spaceship Earth each time we are in EPCOT.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Talk about a Disney Park that has really stepped up its game over the last few years.  With the opening of Toy Story Land and then Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, Disney’s Hollywood Studios went from a Theme Park with only a couple of rides to a Park that you might need two days to fit it all in.

Rise of the Resistance is our first pick for Disney’s Hollywood Studios and is probably not a surprise to anyone.   Rise of the Resistance is the most immersive ride in all of Walt Disney World and it puts Guests in the middle of the action as they fight the First Order right alongside Rey and BB-8.

Disney has created an amazing experience where Guests are moved from place to place within the story using a variety of different experiences.  We definitely want to ride Rise of the Resistance over and over again in order to see all the outstanding details throughout the ride experience. Even if you aren’t a Star Wars fan, we think that this is a must do on your Walt Disney World day.

Twilight Zone Tower of Terror is our second ride choice in Disney’s Hollywood Studios which might be surprising to some.  With Slinky Dog Dash, Rock n’ Roller Coaster and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway as competition, some might be confused on why we would choose Tower of Terror as our second ride.

Guests can see this ride looming in the distance as soon as they turn down Sunset Boulevard.  Seeing the broken down hotel and hearing the screams sets the stage right away for this ride.  We love how even the queue shows how worn down the hotel is and this continues as you enter into the lobby.

Make sure you take time to take in the details of the lobby as you can find some hidden gems.  Nothing can compare to the excitement that comes each and every time you ride and the drops begin.  No matter how often you ride, the unknown is so much fun.

We don’t feel like our trip to Hollywood Studios is complete until we ride Tower of Terror.

Magic Kingdom

Finally, Magic Kingdom the Disney Theme Park with the most rides to choose from.  Although our top two choices might change each day, currently these are the two rides we would choose in Magic Kingdom.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean we think is a top attraction in the Magic Kingdom Park and one we enjoy riding each visit.

We absolutely love this ride because it has a little of everything.  From a fun boat ride that has great animatronics, action, drops and of course the classic song we feel like a trip to the Magic Kingdom isn’t complete until we take a ride on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Haunted Mansion would be our second choice in the Magic Kingdom even over the thrilling mountains and other classic attractions.

This classic Disney attraction is one that still amazes us each and every time we ride.  The creativity and imagination that went into making this ride is something that we greatly appreciate.

We enjoy how the story is set as we wait in line and continue through the stretching room.  Even though we have experienced it many times, we still find new and interesting aspects each and every time.

Those are our top two rides in each of the four Disney World Theme Parks.  Do you agree with our choices or would you have a different pick?

Luckily you can experience all of these outstanding rides and more using Disney Genie and Genie+. Learn more here about these features from Disney World.
