10 Stores You Don’t Want To Miss At Disney Springs
Disney Springs is Walt Disney World’s shopping and dining district, previously known as Downtown Disney. It’s full of excellent restaurants to eat at, entertainment to enjoy throughout the day and into the evening, and a wide variety of stores to browse, including a Lego Store. Speaking of shopping, there are ten stores you don’t want to miss when visiting Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista. Let’s take a look at the Disney Springs stores we recommend visiting.
World of Disney
World of Disney is not only the largest Disney store on Walt Disney World Property but the largest Disney store in the world. Within the twelve rooms, there’s a piece of merchandise for everyone. While browsing, look beyond the merchandise, and admire the store’s details. You’ll notice ink and paint jars, character sketches, movie posters, and more. History has it that World of Disney occupies what was once an animation studio.
Marketplace Co-Op
If you’re looking for unique brands and limited-edition merchandise, the Marketplace Co-Op is the place to shop. The Disney store in the Marketplace sells pet accessories, Disney-style apparel, personalized tech gear, home decor, and more. Don’t be surprised if different items are being sold in-store each time you visit. We recommend buying something when you see it in the Marketplace Co-Op, especially if you have yet to see it anywhere else in the Walt Disney World Resort. We’d hate for you to miss the opportunity to buy it!
The Ganachery
Are you or someone you know a chocoholic? If the answer is yes, then you must stop by The Ganachery in Disney Springs. The chocolate shop is located in The Landing, across from Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. Indulge in sophisticated chocolate and ganache made by in-house expert chocolatiers. Your treats are hand-packed in luxurious wrapping, making them the perfect gift to yourself when you are home, back at your Disney Resort hotel, or as a souvenir for someone else. Additionally, chocolate lollipops are available to purchase. Seasonal items such as hot cocoa bombs are also available throughout the year.
Gideon’s Bakehouse
While there may be a line for Gideon’s Bakehouse in front of Morimoto Asia, the wait is worth it. Gideon’s Bakehouse is an Orlando-based company known for its delicious cookies, cakes, and Nitro Cold Brew. Treat yourself to half-pound cookies in classic flavors, such as Original Chocolate Chip, or try their limited-edition flavors, such as Key Lime Chocolate Chip. If you’re more of a cake person, order one of their giant cake slices. A Gideon’s Bakehouse product is a must-try snack when visiting Disney Springs. Gideon’s Bakehouse is located at The Landing, across the way from Raglan Road and Wine Bar George.
The Art of Disney
Whether you hope to add a piece of art to your collection or just wish to browse, there are so many beautiful pieces to admire at The Art of Disney store. A wide selection of statues, framed prints, original canvases, and books are available to admire or purchase. Additionally, you can order hand-drawn sketches of your favorite Disney characters. You can watch the resident artist draw your sketch if you have time. Find The Art of Disney in the Marketplace, next to the Rainforest Cafe. It’s also near the Sassagoula River Boat landing to the Port Orleans Resorts and the walkway to Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.
Sugarboo & Co.
When strolling through Town Center, in the covered part towards Planet Hollywood and the West Side, you’ll come across Sugarboo & Co. Inside, you’ll find the most beautiful treasures and gifts. Handmade jewelry, uplifting prints, charming home decor, and delightful toys are some of the things you’ll find in Sugarboo & Co. Don’t worry if you decide not to buy anything; there’s plenty of joy to be had admiring the whimsical treasures in the family-owned shop.
Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories
For Disney jewelry, bags, and accessories, Ever After Jewelry Co. & Accessories is our favorite store outside of Magic Kingdom. The simply-designed yet elegant store displays all the sparkly treasures a Disney lover needs. Spend a while browsing, or look closer by asking a Cast Member for help. Additionally, take some time to admire the beautiful wall decor; you may find your favorite Disney princess quote.
Ron Jon Surf Shop
The Ron Jon Surf Shop is the place to update your summer wardrobe with comfy t-shirts, cozy hoodies, beach dresses, surfer shorts, and more. We love to browse the sandals and flip-flops and admire the pretty home accessories. In-store, there is also a selection of Disney Springs products. Look out for them around the registers; it’s a great way to combine your love of the beach with Walt Disney World.
Goofy’s Candy Co.
Goofy’s Candy Co. is the place to shop if you’re looking to buy a selection of Disney snacks to take home. We prefer to pick up our sweet treats there than in the Main Street Confectionery store in Magic Kingdom, as we don’t need to worry about them getting damaged on the rides. Pre-packed treats are available to purchase, as well as made-to-order treats. Mobile ordering is also available at the Disney store, allowing you to select an arrival window should you wish to pick your treats up later.
Disney’s Days of Christmas
We can’t visit Walt Disney World without picking up a new Christmas ornament. In particular, we like to have an ornament personalized during each visit to commemorate the year we took a Disney vacation. Disney’s Days of Christmas is one of two places to take advantage of ornament personalization; alternatively, the service is offered at Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe in Magic Kingdom. Spend a while browsing Disney’s Days of Christmas in the Marketplace. You’re bound to find the perfect ornament and other seasonal items too.
Plan a visit to Disney Springs during your next Disney vacation. Day or night, you’ll have a wonderful Disney experience. So much so you won’t regret spending time away from a Disney Park.
