No Draft Beer? EPCOT’s Rose & Crown Pub Faces Temporary Beverage Change

Say it ain’t so! If you were planning on grabbing a perfectly poured pint at Rose & Crown Pub in EPCOT’s United Kingdom Pavilion, we’ve got some bad news—you’re out of luck. Draft beer and cider are completely off the menu for the next few months! That’s right, one of EPCOT’s most beloved watering holes has temporarily lost its signature draft pours, leaving many guests scrambling for an alternative.

What’s Going On?

According to Cast Members at the pub, Disney is rebuilding the entire keg system, a process that’s expected to take about 10 weeks. That’s nearly three months without fresh draft beer! While there was talk of shutting the pub down completely during construction, Disney decided to keep it open—but without its most popular drink option.
This means that while you can still step inside the pub and soak in the traditional British atmosphere, your favorite draft beer or cider is currently off the menu. Instead, the bar is now serving canned and bottled versions of many guest-favorite selections. Cast Members have confirmed that they’re doing their best to keep a solid selection of British beers and ciders available in the meantime.
Right now, there’s no official signage about the missing draft selections, but Cast Members are breaking the bad news to guests in person when they approach the bar. So if you were planning on a classic Snake Bite or Black & Tan poured fresh from the tap, you’re going to have to make other arrangements.
What Can You Get Instead?
Don’t panic—the drinks haven’t completely disappeared! Rose & Crown is still serving canned and bottled versions of many of its usual draft beers and ciders. Plus, the pub’s usual lineup of cocktails, wines, and whiskey flights remains untouched. You can still get a taste of Britain—you just won’t be able to get it fresh from the tap.
Additionally, the newly opened outdoor bar kiosk in the UK Pavilion is still serving draft beer, so that may be an option for guests looking to stick to their original drinking plans.
Where Else Can You Get Draft Beer in EPCOT?
If you’re on a Drink Around the World mission and need a cold draft beer, you’ll have to look elsewhere. Thankfully, EPCOT has no shortage of great places to grab a draft pour while you wait for Rose & Crown’s keg system to return. Here are some of the best options:
-
Biergarten (Germany Pavilion) – Home of giant steins of authentic German beer on draft. If you’re craving a fresh pour, this is a great place to go. Prost!
-
Regal Eagle Smokehouse (American Adventure Pavilion) – Features a rotating selection of craft beers on tap, often including regional brews from across the U.S.
-
Block & Hans (American Adventure Pavilion) – If you want a variety of American draft beers, this is the place to go. They specialize in craft beer selections.
-
La Cava del Tequila (Mexico Pavilion) – Not just margaritas—you can find Mexican beers on draft here too, perfect for pairing with your chips and queso.
-
Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie (France Pavilion) – Serving Kronenbourg 1664, a classic French brew that pairs beautifully with their pastries.
-
Joy of Tea (China Pavilion) – While known for its tea-based cocktails, this spot also carries Tsingtao on draft, a crisp and refreshing Chinese lager.
The Bottom Line
If your EPCOT drinking plans included a perfectly poured draft beer at Rose & Crown, you’ll have to adjust your game plan. While this change is only temporary, it’s still a bummer for fans of the pub’s classic pints. In the meantime, canned drinks are available, or you can hit up one of the many other EPCOT locations still pouring draft beer.
The good news? Once the new keg system is up and running, it should mean an even better experience for guests moving forward. But for now, if you want a draft beer in EPCOT, you’ll have to venture beyond the UK Pavilion.
Are you devastated by this draft beer drama? Will you be grabbing a canned drink or heading elsewhere? Sound off in the comments!
