Enjoy Main Street, U.S.A.

We often make the mistake of rushing through Main Street, U.S.A., to get to our first attraction. Even though that is a great strategy when arriving at the Park, we suggest heading back later to enjoy this land.

Main Street, U.S.A. is designed to welcome Guests to the show. It is full of small, magical details that you won’t want to miss. Take time to read the windows and learn what they all mean. Window shop at the Emporium as their window displays are excellent.

Also on Main Street, U.S.A. is the fire station and City Hall. These are two buildings that most Guests don’t take the time to visit. Take time to enjoy the details that are put into these buildings. Sometimes the fire truck will be in the station as well.

Although the magic area on Main Street, U.S.A. that most Guests don’t even know is there is a little alley. Across from the Emporium is a little alley. Here you can find small tables and seating areas. This is a fantastic area to step away from the crowds.

Even if you rush past Main Street, U.S.A., when you first arrive at Magic Kingdom, take time to go back and enjoy all it has to offer.

Visit Cinderella Castle

It is hard to miss the castle, but we suggest taking time to take in the beauty and details of the castle truly. Take time to explore all the sides of the castle. Fantasyland has excellent pictures to capture from both sides and the back.

We also like walking through the castle when it is open. You have to plan this in-between stage shows, but we enjoy seeing all the beautiful mosaics and details throughout the walkway. There is so much detail in these pictures that tell the story of Cinderella.

Take time to walk around and through the castle when you are able. It is a beautiful and magical sight to see.

Hang Out On the Hub

One of the significant improvements at Magic Kingdom is the expansion of the hub area. A large grassy area now sits in front of the castle at the end of Main Street. Next time you are in the Magic Kingdom, take some time to sit down and chill on the hub grass.

Even in the middle of the Magic Kingdom, there is something extra magical about this area. You can enjoy a snack while people watching, catching a castle show, or watching a cavalcade go by.

We love taking the time to enjoy this beautiful spot at Magic Kingdom when we visit.

Ride Some Classics

Even though we love the thrill and excitement of Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain, we often find magic in the classic rides. Taking time to enjoy it’s a small world, Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress, Peter Pan’s Flight, or The Haunted Mansion allows you to enjoy the magic that made Disney so special.

These rides allow you to enjoy the original magic that started it all. These rides make Disney special with the storytelling, technology, and animatronics. There is something so special about these rides.

Experience the Thrills

As we mentioned, there is something magical about the classic rides that made Magic Kingdom the Park; however, there is also something magical about the thrills.

Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain are the top trill rides in Magic Kingdom, with Tron coming soon. See the magic in these thrills during your trip. Enjoy how Disney can create thrills that are truly magical for Guests.

As you head to Magic Kingdom, we hope you take the time to add these magical experiences. These are small ways to add just a little extra magic to your magical day in Magic Kingdom. There is so much to see and do in the Park that it can be easy to miss the magic.
