Disney’s Hollywood Studios is full of magical experiences. Now just as popular as Magic Kingdom on most days, this Disney park has so much to offer guests.

With so much to see and do throughout Disney’s Hollywood Studios, narrowing down what to focus on during a visit can be challenging. To help with this process, we will share experiences we think everyone will enjoy.

Something that makes Disney’s Hollywood Studios unique is the outstanding shows. Everyone can enjoy these experiences.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along is a fantastic retelling of the story of Elsa and Anna. The hilarious historians bring the story to the audience in a unique way that will leave everyone laughing. As the name suggests, the show also includes singing along with the well-known songs from the movie.

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular is a high-energy show that includes live performances. Through the show, guests are taught about making a movie. Incredible stunts and special effects are used throughout the sho, making it full of suspense and excitement.

Head down to Sunset Boulevard for two fun shows. Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage brings this beloved story to the stage right at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The costumes are fantastic, and the transformation of the Beast is terrific.

Check out a fun, laid-back show at Lightning McQueen Racing Academy. Many guests don’t even know that this show exists. Join Lightning McQueen and his friends, who show you what it takes to become a great racer.

Don’t forget to visit the Muppets, where they put on a patriotic show for guests. This super cheesy but entertaining show is one that the whole family can appreciate together. The lame 3D tricks will have everyone laughing together.

Finally, enjoy Disney Junior Play and Dance in the Animation Courtyard. Join Disney Junior friends as they have a fun time together. Although geared towards the younger crowds, the high energy of this show is fun for everyone.

Well Themed Dining

Disney’s Hollywood Studios doesn’t have the best reputation for quick dining throughout the park, but everyone will enjoy the well-themed table service restaurants.

50’s Prime Time Cafe provides classic American comfort food such as meatloaf, fried chicken, and mashed potatoes. Make sure you clean your plate, or having dessert won’t be an option here otherwise. This 50 ’s-themed diner not only has excellent decorations right from your grandma’s kitchen, but the servers are fun as well.

Enjoy a meal at the drive-in when you eat at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre. Here, guests watch sci-fi movie clips while enjoying a meal in a car. Everyone will get a kick out of this fun, unique dining experience.

Feel like a celebrity when you dine at Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge. Indulge as you enjoy relaxing in what feels and sounds like Hollywood. This signature restaurant is full of class; everyone will feel like a celebrity when dining here.

Rides

Although Disney’s Hollywood Studios are known for thrill attractions such as Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Aerosmith’s Rock n’ Roller Coaster, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, there are also rides that everyone can enjoy together.

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is a trackless ride everyone can enjoy together. Everyone boards the train to head out with Goofy. When things go wrong, Mickey, Minnie and their friends work together. The special effects are fantastic. Watching the rooms transform is an effect that has us in awe each time we ride. Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway is the only ride featuring Mickey Mouse, and it is a must-do.

Get ready for a battle on Toy Story Mania. This fun, interactive game is an experience that everyone can participate in. Guests each earn points throughout the different scenes. Each experience is different, making it fun and something you can do repeatedly.

Films

There are two films that everyone will enjoy at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The first one is found in Walt Disney Presents. This gallery is filled with incredible artifacts from Walt Disney. At the exhibit’s end, guests can enjoy a 15-minute documentary focusing on Walt Disney himself. Everyone can appreciate the rarely-seen footage of Walt and how he made his dream a reality.

Vacation Fun- An Original Animated Short with Mickey & Minnie is played throughout the day in the Mickey Shorts Theatre. It is a quick but cute film; guests watch as Mickey prepares for a vacation with Minnie. Everyone will enjoy the short movie and the connection to Walt Disney World.

The Lands

Finally, everyone can enjoy the well-themed lands at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge and Toy Story Land are fantastic lands that can be explored for hours. Everyone will appreciate having time to slow down and take in the outstanding details of both of these lands.

In Toy Story Land, guests will have a great time discovering all the toys and other items Andy used to create this area. From blocks to popsicle sticks, every detail is fantastic.

Back over in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, even the non-Star Wars fans will find the details throughout Batuu fascinating. Everything is so well throughout, from the language to the small details on the ground.
