Do NOT Got To Disney Without These Essential Items

Making sure you pack the right items for your Walt Disney World vacation is essential to a successful trip. If you forget these items below, it can cause a lot of extra stress and even money you don’t want to have during a vacation.
Now that you have booked your trip, it is time to make sure you know what you need to pack. We have the top items you do not want to head to Walt Disney World without. We are sharing these items with you today so you can also have a fantastic time.

Portable Charger
A trip to Walt Disney World used to mean disconnecting, but now more than ever, connecting during a Walt Disney World vacation is essential. My Disney Experience is where Guests can see wait times, book Genie+ return times, place mobile orders, see photos, and so much more.
Because of how important the app is to successfully navigate a day in a Disney Park, having a dead cell phone can impact the day; we always make sure that we have portable chargers (numerous) with us in our Disney Park Bag. This lets us keep our phones charged and connected to the magic all day.
Amazon has various portable chargers that can come in numerous sizes depending on your needs. Disney does have Fuel Rod stations throughout the Disney Parks and Resorts; however, they don’t typically provide more than one charge causing you to constantly be trading them out.
Take time to make sure you have a portable charger that works for what you need and cords to go with it for everyone’s devices. No one wants to miss out because their phone dies in the middle of the day.

Water
If you are flying to Walt Disney World, you cannot quickly bring water; however, you can make sure you have a plan before leaving. Make sure you know how your family is going to stay hydrated. The combination of walking, heat, and humidity can cause many issues for Guests. Staying hydrated in the Parks is a significant first step in battling this.
Consider bringing reusable water bottles for everyone. This is a great way to fill out throughout the day in the Parks. You can even get free ice water at quick service locations.
If you prefer bottled water, save time and money by having bottled water delivered to your Walt Disney World Resort hotel. Many companies, such as Walmart, Target, and Amazon, will do this for you.
Both options are great ways to stay hydrated throughout the day while visiting Walt Disney World. We never leave home without a plan for water during the trip.

Rain Gear
It doesn’t matter when we head to Walt Disney World, we always make sure that we pack rain gear. Even if there isn’t any rain predicted, we know that rain storms can pop up suddenly in the Orlando area, and we want to be prepared.
As for us, we like to have rain jackets over ponchos. Whatever you prefer, make sure that you have them packed. They will be great to toss on and allow you to keep moving when the rain starts.
We also bring umbrellas. Although they aren’t as easy to use in a busy Park or when the wind picks up, they are excellent for when you don’t want to wear the rain jacket or poncho or when you might need extra protection.
We also like to have baggies when preparing for the rain. We use these to put our wet jackets or umbrellas in after the rain storm is done. This helps keep our other items dry as well as our bag.

Sun Items
We also want to be prepared for the sun at Walt Disney World. The sun is intense, and we want to ensure we are ready for it with the right items. Having sunscreen, and a lot of it, packed is tip number one. Even if you are visiting during the winter, the sun is still intense, and you need to protect yourself from it.
When it is going to be hot, like in the summer months, we also like to bring both individual fans and cooling towels. These can make a huge difference in keeping our body temperatures down as we wait in lines.
Even though we aren’t typically hat fans, we bring them to Disney. They are great for protecting us from the sun and rain when needed.

A Park Bag
It doesn’t matter how young or old your traveling party is; having a bag for Disney Parks is essential. Even if you don’t want to carry many things with you, having them in a bag is much easier.
Choose a cute Loungefly bag or a simple backpack, but no matter your style, a bag pack is essential for a day at one of the Disney Parks. When you need a portable charger, water, cooling towels, snacks, etc., having a place to keep, all of the items makes it much easier as you get in and out of rides.
Consider what type of straps you prefer, so they are comfortable and how big you want them to be. The bigger the bag, the heavier and hotter it will be throughout the day.
You do not want to head to Walt Disney World without these items. They will help make your trip a lot easier and a lot more magical.
