Mysterious Crime Scene Discovered at Disneyland After Destructive Fire

A devastating fire erupted at Disneyland Resort on Friday afternoon, leaving the Southern California theme park in recovery mode. But days before the incident unfolded, shocking footage surfaced, revealing an active crime scene inside Disneyland Park.

The fire reportedly involved three or four vehicles on the fifth floor of the Pixar Pals Parking Structure on April 4, 2025. Southern California Disney Park guests captured disturbing images and videos of thick smoke rising from the open-air parking garage.

Emergency responders rushed to the scene, although early reports suggested they struggled to access enough water to fully extinguish the flames. Thankfully, there were no injuries, but parts of the fifth-floor area remain cordoned off as investigations continue in the aftermath of the fire.

However, just days before the fire, another shocking incident unfolded at Disneyland Resort. Instagram account @_dreampark__ shared a video filmed in Frontierland depicting what appeared to be a shoplifting incident outside the Pioneer Mercantile store at Disneyland Park.

“This is some Knott’s Berry Farm stuff man!” the Instagram user wrote.

The footage shows numerous merchandise security tags scattered on the ground outside the store late at night. While the video documents the apparent crime, it’s unclear whether the suspects were apprehended. Disney Parks are known for rampant security measures, including cameras and undercover cast members, so even if the shoplifters weren’t caught immediately, they may have been identified later.

If guests witness any suspicious or prohibited behavior in the Disney parks, they should not intervene directly. Instead, they should immediately report the incident to a Disney cast member, allowing trained security personnel to address the situation safely.

What’s the strangest thing you’ve spotted at Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort? We would love to hear from you in the comments!
