Guests are terrified of Disney World’s latest offering, commenting they plan to cancel their upcoming reservations to the resort.
Disney fans are eager to experience Walt Disney World Resort’s latest attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. However, with the reimagined ride scheduled to open this summer and undoubtedly drawing massive crowds to Magic Kingdom Park, Disney needed a plan to alleviate attendance at the heart of the resort.

Disney fans of all ages begged the company to bring drone shows to the United States, particularly since Disneyland Paris already used this technology in multiple nighttime spectaculars, sparking envy in America.
Fortunately, Walt Disney World Resort recently debuted Disney Dreams That Soar, a breathtaking nighttime spectacular featuring 800 drones and 30 Disney characters from beloved Disney stories, including Toy Story, Coco (2017), Dumbo (1941), Peter Pan (1953), Up (2009), the Star Wars saga and more!
The show premiered at Disney Springs to raving reviews. However, attendees had one major complaint about their experience.

Disney Springs, home to this unique nighttime show, was flooded with families eager to see the premiere of Disney Dreams That Soar. As a result, guests were trapped in Disney World’s shopping and dining district for over 30 minutes.
TikTok user @findinghomeinspo posted a video from the scene, commenting that “Disney Springs isn’t prepared at all” and that guests had been “standing still for at least 30 minutes” after the show concluded.

Viewers were horrified by the massive crowds at Disney Springs for the debut of Disney Dreams That Soar. One user commented that they attended the event and were stuck in the crowd, too. “A nightmare!” they added.
Another viewer commented, “I am cancelling my park reservation for Tuesday,” likely unaware that the massive crowds that flooded Disney Springs and Disney World’s theme parks were shockingly deserted.
It is unclear if Disney World officials will enforce new measures to control crowds at Disney Springs for the duration of the all-new drone nighttime spectacular. However, imminent changes are more than likely to happen, improving the guest experience for the nighttime spectacular.

The groundbreaking 10-minute drone show is a massive leap for Disney Parks in the United States, as this is the first time the technology has been used at Disney World.
Regardless, Disneyland Paris has used drones in its nighttime entertainment since the Disney Resort’s 30th anniversary, even bringing back the beloved Main Street Electrical Parade with a unique, reimagined vision.
Disney Dreams That Soar is scheduled to perform nightly from May 24 through September 2, 2024, with viewing areas available on a first-come, first-served basis on Disney Springs West Side—along the waterfront between the Cirque du Soleil Theatre and Aerophile – The World Leader in Balloon Flight.
