Disneyland Resort just unleashed a number of price hikes across the board on food, snack, and beverage items, as well as select dining experiences and other packages.
There’s no denying that Disney theme parks have all gotten substantially more expensive over the years, though the price hikes aren’t stopping anytime soon. Park tickets and hotel rooms are the places guests will spend the most cash, but snacks and merchandise can add up too.
Disneyland’s iconic Trader Sam’s bar has seen multiple price increases to its many drinks and other items, affecting everything from beverages to Disney’s legendary DOLE Whip pineapple soft serve. The Blue Bayou, another fan-favorite Disneyland location, has also gotten more expensive. Guests can expect to spend between $1 and $4 more for items while dining here.
The same goes for River Belle Terrace. Drinking has also gotten more expensive. Guests will find that the specialty cocktails at Napa Rose have all increased by $1.
Special Fantasmic and World of Color dining packages have also been priced higher, increasing between $3 and $10.
Price hikes don’t just end on the West Coast. Walt Disney World Resort has also seen a number of items get price bumps in recent years, affecting everything from food and drink to park tickets. Magic Kingdom remains the resort’s most popular park, and in turn, its most expensive.
Guests can expect a single-day ticket for Magic Kingdom to cost anywhere between $150 and $200 per person. EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom are priced slightly less but will still come in between $140-$180.
Disney’s limited-time events have also increased in price. Guests looking to visit Magic Kingdom for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can expect to spend more than they did last year.
Are you planning to visit Disneyland soon? Will these price hikes affect your vacation?
