Disney To Roll Out Iconic Princess Redesigns Next Month

Disney princesses are getting new looks at one theme park, starting in March.

The changes will debut at Disneyland Paris. Instead of traditional meet-and-greets, the redesigns are being introduced through a new dining experience.

The move is part of Disney Adventure World, the rebrand of Walt Disney Studios Park. Launching on March 29, 2026, the transformation brings new lands, attractions, and restaurants intended to reposition the park as a full-day destination rather than a half-day add-on.

Princess encounters are a constant across Disney’s global parks. From California to China, characters like Snow White, Cinderella, and Rapunzel appear in carefully managed settings that prioritize consistency over experimentation.

That consistency is what makes the Paris changes stand out. Disney rarely allows park-exclusive variations for core characters, particularly princesses, whose appearances are among the most tightly controlled elements of the brand.

A New Setting for Familiar Characters

Disney Adventure World’s expansion provides the backdrop for the shift.

World of Frozen will anchor the park’s next phase, offering guest encounters with Anna and Elsa alongside a walking-and-talking Olaf animatronic. The land is designed to encourage roaming character moments rather than fixed photo stops.

Adventure Way extends that approach. The new promenade connects multiple areas of the park and leads to Adventure Bay, a central lake built to host a large nighttime spectacular.

Adventure Way also introduces Raiponce Tangled Spin, a Tangled-inspired attraction, and a new table-service restaurant that places princess interactions at the center of the experience.

That venue, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, is where Disney will debut the redesigned princess looks.

According to DLP Report, the princesses appearing at the restaurant will wear ā€œdifferent outfits – something that doesn’t exist anywhere else.ā€

The confirmed lineup includes Belle, Aurora, and Ariel. Disney-released imagery also features Merida and Jasmine, suggesting additional characters may rotate through the location.

Disney has not detailed how the new outfits differ from existing designs. What has been emphasized is exclusivity — the looks are tied specifically to this restaurant and this park.

The restaurant itself is themed as the ā€œfavorite summer residenceā€ of Disney princesses and overlooks Adventure Bay, positioning character appearances as part of a scenic, seated experience rather than a queue-based interaction.

Dining Becomes the Delivery System

The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge also reflects a broader strategy shift at Disneyland Paris.

The resort has long been criticized for uneven food quality and limited dining options compared with U.S. Disney parks. New venues tied to Disney Adventure World are meant to change that perception.

The Regal View’s menu was developed by Chef Olivier Arthur and draws inspiration from the worlds associated with Disney princess stories.

Its Menu du ChĆŖne Royal costs €100 ($118) per adult and includes bluefin tuna tataki, North African-style roast guinea fowl, steak with onion confit, and a Marc de Champagne frozen soufflĆ©.

Breakfast is priced at €60 ($71) per adult and offers both savory and sweet options, including smoked salmon with dill cream on Nordic bread or pancakes with seasonal fruit and maple syrup.

The venue also includes a bar area serving themed cocktails such as the Princely Eden, Sereni’Fizz Highness, and the alcohol-free Enchanted Carriage.

Unlike the restaurant, the bar does not require a reservation.

ā€œDrop by anytime and unwind in the only bar within the Disney Parks,ā€ Disney says. ā€œEnjoy its relaxed, elegant atmosphere — perfect for couples or friends — while taking in the breathtaking view over the lake. No reservation required.ā€

The Regal View is not alone in this push. Nordic Crowns Tavern, opening in World of Frozen, signals a parallel effort to pair immersive theming with more ambitious menus.
