Some Disney fans, in a heartwarming post, took the time to share the best surprises they’ve experienced at Disney over the years!

Both the Walt Disney World Resort and the Disneyland Resort are places of magic and wonder for all guests. From the myriad rides and attractions that have guests from all over the world flocking to any Disney Park to the amazing lands on offer, the Disney experience is certainly one to write home about.

Guests Share Their Favorite Disney Surprises 

The Disney magic is characterized by both the expected and unexpected. From the wondrous Cinderella Castle and fireworks on Main Street, U.S.A., there are a few things guests know they will encounter that are sure to put a smile on their faces.

However, equally, there are many “magical moments” that cast members make happen that one might never have dreamed of happening. In this vein, one guest recently took to Reddit to ask, “What things have you encountered in the parks you didn’t account for in your planning that was a totally pleasant surprise to you? ”

Notably, practically every response included magic made by the amazing Disney cast members. Here are some of the best stories we read about!

One fan wrote, “The cast member at Kali River Rapids asked us if we wanted to get on again when we were walking out! I internally screamed because it wasn’t very warm out but my kid LOVES the ride (doesn’t care how cold/warm) so we took it with gratitude and smiles.”

Another guest shared this heartwarming story:

 The first time my 3 year old rode Slinky Dog we walked up to check her height and she BARELY made it. The cast member asked her if this was her first time and she said yes. The cast member told my daughter to come back and tell her about it. We rode it and my daughter loved it so we went back to tell the cast member and my daughter was so excited. The cast member asked if she wanted to ride again and she said YES! They put us through the Fastpass Line instead of waiting for what had become a 2 hour wait.

The cast members are truly the heart and soul of the Disney experience, and it’s no surprise that all of the best surprises at Disney World center around cast member kindness and pixie dust!
