Best Disney Lounges You MUST Check Out!

Walt Disney World is known for its attractions, iconic characters, and world-class customer service. But that barely scratches the surface of all that it has to offer. Did you know that there are lounges with amazing food and cocktails sprinkled throughout the property? I have been through all of the lounges that Disney has to offer (more times than I care to admit). Here is the ultimate list of the best Disney lounges you must check out!

Nomad Lounge – Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park

Just outside of the entrance to Pandora – The World of Avatar sits a newish restaurant called Tiffins. This is probably one of the best in-park restaurants Walt Disney World has to offer. But what is even better than the restaurant is the gem sitting right next door.

The food. and drinks represent many places around the world, and honestly, Nomad Lounge offers some of the best menu items on the property. The Birria Tacos are a new fan-favorite small dish, and you MUST try the Hightower Rocks cocktail.

Nomad Lounge is a beautiful, grounding escape from the hubbub of the theme park. It commemorates the travels and research of the Walt Disney Imagineering team in charge of Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park. Time in this space invites its patrons to reflect on how meaningful travel can be.

One of my favorite details is that they give Guests an opportunity to write down a meaningful travel experience and hang it in the lounge. Take a moment to pause and read through some of these special stories.

Despite being considered a lounge, don’t shy away from bringing in your little ones! There are great non-alcoholic beverages and it is a comfy space for everyone to relax. Get yourself on the wait list either at the podium or on your My Disney Experience app.

Boathouse Restaurant outside bar area

The BOATHOUSE Restaurant – Disney Springs

While this may not be considered a “lounge” per say, this is definitely one of my go-to bars at Walt Disney World. There are a few corners I frequent, and this is definitely one of them.

Located right in the middle of Disney Springs is this amazing restaurant right on the water. This is another spot that is difficult to reserve, but like most locations on property, the full menu is served at the bar. There is a bar inside with plenty of stools, but the pièce de résistance is the area outside.

Walk into the main entrance of the restaurant, go past the podium to the left. Across the bridge you will find a full bar with stools, as well as small tables on the outskirts of the dock. Yes – I said dock. There are also tables on lower levels in the same area if you can’t find something immediately.

The view of the rest of Disney Springs and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa from here is unmatched. It’s another amazing spot to catch a sunset. Plus, if you want to catch one of the weekend games, there are a handful of TVs located around both the inside and the outside bars. Don’t miss the important things while you are on vacation!

I URGE you to try the firecracker shrimp here. And their truffle fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about both of those plates right now.

View from Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera

Topolino’s Terrace – Disney’s Riviera Resort

Located atop of the newest Disney resort is a beautiful French and Italian restaurant. Topolino’s Terrace is a difficult reservation to secure, but the SECRET is that the lounge inside the restaurant is first-come-first-served. Plus, it serves the entire food menu!

This rooftop restaurant provides absolutely gorgeous views of Disney property. The sunset colors are to die for every night. Its proximity to the World Showcase makes it a wonderful spot to watch EPCOT’s nighttime spectacular, Harmonious.

Take the Skyliner over from EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or even grab a bus. A walk around this resort will do you some good! (Plus this lobby has the best smell!)

AbracadaBar – Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

This corner is so unique! Travel back in time as you soak in the former stomping grounds of magicians and illusionists. The details are exquisite and the storytelling is phenomenal. It feels like you step into a different era.

The food selections here are pretty minimal, but the cocktails and ambiance are what really makes this place worth the stop. Just outside of this bar is a pizza window, as well as other various food booths located around the BoardWalk so there are plenty of food options around! (Be sure to walk over to Beaches and Cream around the BoardWalk if you are looking for something sweet!)

Belle Vue Lounge – Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

We can’t talk about lounges at the BoardWalk without mentioning one of my frequent spots – the Belle Vue Lounge. Located just inside on the second floor of the resort sits this low-key 1930s-style seating area with some of the best wine selections on the property. There are some fun touches – board games and music from the era.

Stop by Belle Vue Lounge and take a load off after a long day in the parks. Do not that there are no food options here, so be sure to head outside for some bites before arriving. (Grab a glass of the South African Spice Route Chakalaka Shiraz Blend. You won’t regret it!)

If you are looking for something new to try on your next Disney trip, take a load off and stop at one of these lounges!
