10. Portable Charger

My Disney Experience is the official app of Walt Disney World. It is through this app that Guests will stay connected during their trip. The app allows Guests to see wait times, order food, and book Genie+ return times.

Because the app is so important, having a charged phone while in the Parks becomes essential. You will want a portable charger for everyone to ensure you don’t have a dead battery.

By having a portable charger, your phone will stay charged, and you will stay connected to the magic.

9. Rain Gear

Don’t forget that you will want to have rain gear. No matter what the weather app says before your trip, make sure that you toss in rain gear. Save yourself time and frustration by picking up cheap ponchos at the dollar store or through Amazon. These small packages are easy to throw in a Park bag and can save the day when a rain storm suddenly pops up.

We also like to have tiny umbrellas as well. These can be great for rain storms and for providing sun shade. This can give a huge relief when there isn’t any shade while waiting for a ride or parade to start.

We all hope the weather will be magically perfect, but rain does happen, so be prepared.

Walt Disney World is huge, meaning that part of your trip experience will be a lot of walking. Be prepared for those extra miles by purchasing comfortable walking shoes.

Invest in a good, comfortable pair of shoes before your trip. Once you have them, make sure that you break them in at home. Go on some walks to make sure that they are going to work out at Walt Disney World.
