10 Items That Should ALWAYS Be in Your Disney Bag

As you prepare to enter the Walt Disney World Parks, you might need help determining what to bring. Can you get away with a cute Disney Loungefly? Do you need a good, sturdy backpack? No matter which bag you go with, there are ten items that you will want to make sure you have with you as you enter Disney Park.

Magic Band Entrance

10. Park Ticket or MagicBand

When you head out from your Walt Disney World Resort hotel in the morning, you want to ensure you have a way to enter the Park. This could be either your Park ticket or your MagicBand. Disney will give you credit card-like ticket if you choose not to purchase a MagicBand for your trip. This will allow you to get into your room and Disney Park and access the Lightning Lanes throughout the Parks.

You can also choose to purchase a MagicBand or MagicBand+. These are more convenient than the tickets as you can wear them. Having them on you already makes it easy to access throughout the day.

Even though you can use Magic Mobile through the My Disney Experience app, we have seen a lot of things that need fixing with this system. Because of that, we highly recommend having a backup with you in your Disney Bag.

9. Credit Card and ID

Make sure that you have your credit card and ID with you before leaving each day for a Disney Park. We like the option of being able to charge back to our Walt Disney World Resort hotel room; however, we have also been in the Parks when this system goes down.

We like making sure that we have a credit card with us, so we always have a method of payment. Our ID also always comes with us to Disney Park. Disney Cast Members are trained to ID most individuals when selling alcohol. If you plan to have a drink during your meal or around the World Showcase, make sure you have your ID handy.

8. Chapstick

This one might seem silly, but we are constantly using it at Walt Disney World. The combination of heat and humidity drys out our lips. We always make sure we have chapstick tossed into our Disney bag. Even though it doesn’t seem like a big deal, it can make a huge difference in comfort as you tour the Parks.

7. Medicine

Our friends often joke that we are a walking pharmacy in Disney. This is because we always make sure we have medicine with us. Nothing is worse than feeling off while trying to enjoy a magical day in Walt Disney World.

Think about what medicine the group might need throughout the day. We typically have ibuprofen and Tylenol to fight off headaches that might occur after too many rides. We also bring Dramamine and other stomach medicine to help if our stomachs bother us after rides or too many sweets. Tums are another great item to have tossed into your Disney bag.

Chaffing sticks are the other medicine that we always have with us. With so much walking, there always seems to be a spot or two that becomes uncomfortable. These small chaffing sticks can be a lifesaver.

6. Wipes and Hand Sanitizer

You might question why you must bring wipes into Walt Disney World if you have older kids. Even as adults, we use wipes constantly throughout our Disney vacations. We use them to wipe down tables, clean our hands, or even wipe off our Disney bags.

Hand sanitizer is also something we always have with us at Disney. We like to have one clipped to the outside of our Disney bag, so it is easy to access throughout the day.

5. Sunglasses and Sunscreen

When heading out to the Parks, don’t forget to grab your sunscreen and sunglasses. These will be so important during those sunny Florida days. Even if the morning starts overcast, make sure you have these items tossed into your bag.

4. Water Bottle

Staying hydrated at Walt Disney World is extremely important. Make sure you set yourself up for success by bringing a water bottle. You can bring a cute, Disney-themed one from home or have water bottles delivered to your Resort.

Make sure that everyone has a way to stay hydrated as you enjoy the Parks.

3. Snacks

Disney has snacks around almost every corner; however, we still make sure we have snacks in our Disney bags. We do this because those hunger pains always seem to hit while in line. Having goldfish or fruit snacks with us can make a huge difference in saving the moment.

Also, if your little ones have specific snacks they are used to, consider tossing those into your bag.

Rain Gear

2. RainGear

No matter the weather forecast, we also have rain gear in the Disney Parks. We have learned that rain storms can pop up suddenly at Walt Disney World. Because of this, we always have our rain gear along.

Typically we have a small umbrella that fits easily in our Disney bag. We also like to toss in our rain ponchos each morning. Having rain gear with us daily in the Parks makes it easy to grab when sudden rain starts.

Finally, the number one item we always ensure we have in our Disney bag is a portable charger. My Disney Experience is so essential to a successful day in the Parks that having a dead phone can ruin the day.

Make sure you toss in your portable chargers and cords each morning. Having these along will make it easy to stay connected throughout the day in the Park.

There are ten items that we always have in our Disney Park Bag. Do you always bring these items?
