What Disney Gift Would You Pick This Year?

As we prepare for the holiday weekend, we thought we would have some fun. Let’s think about some great Disney gifts we would love to see under our tree this year. The trick is we can only pick one of these fantastic Disney gifts.

Look at our top Disney wish list and see which gift option you would pick to place under the tree this year.

Free Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes
Walt Disney World now offers Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes for Guests looking to skip the standby lines.

Disney Genie+ starts at an additional $15/day/person and includes access to over 40 Lightning Lanes across the four Parks.

The Individual Lightning Lanes include the most popular rides in the four Theme Parks and can be purchased al-a-carte.

We would love the ability to bypass the standby lines during our Walt Disney World vacation and would love to find access to both Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lanes wrapped up under our Christmas tree.

Disney Tours
Walt Disney World provides some fantastic tours throughout the four Disney Parks. These tours give Guests an inside look at Disney magic. We would be thrilled to find one under the tree.

The most extensive tour we are dreaming of is a private VIP tour. On this tour, Guests have a private guide that takes them through the Disney Parks. They get them on rides quickly and even provide backstage transportation. We are still waiting for this dream to come true at a starting price of $400/hour with a minimum of seven hours.

Up Close with Rhinos gives Guests a 60-minute guided adventure through the rhino’s backstage area. Wild Africa Trek is also in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, which combines action, adventure, and education in a three-hour adventure. Caring for Giants takes an up-close look at African elephants on a 60-minute tour.

Over in Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Keys to the Kingdom is a top tour for Disney fans. This five-hour walking tour provides Guests access to the underground tunnels of Magic Kingdom.

We also like the option of the shorter Behind the Seeds tour at EPCOT. On this tour, Guests get a grand tour of the greenhouses that make up Living with the Land. They learn how the horticultural group works hard to keep the greenhouses so beautiful and growing.

Walt Disney World tours offer a chance to see the Parks differently, and we would love to have one under our Christmas tree this holiday season.

Upgrade Resort Stay
We are big believers in booking the Walt Disney World Resort and room you will be happy with. Don’t go in believing that you will get upgraded. However, an upgraded Resort would be high on our list if we are making a list of Walt Disney World gifts.

We have stayed at various Walt Disney World Resorts ranging from Disney’s Pop Century to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and we find them all magical and fantastic in their own way.

Each Resort provides free transportation to and from the four Theme Parks, fun themed pools, and dining options; however, we would love to be upgraded to one of the Deluxe Resorts. We love how close the Deluxe Resorts are to the Theme Parks, making it easy to come and go during the day. The pools and dining options at the Deluxe Resorts also offer more.

Because of these reasons, we would love to find a Resort upgrade under our Christmas tree this year. The big decision is which one?

Fireworks Experiences
There is something truly magical about the Walt Disney World nighttime shows. We are thrilled to have a nighttime show at Disney’s Hollywood Studios with Fantasmic being back.

Even though we love these shows, we don’t care for fighting the crowds that accompany them. A great gift would be a fireworks experience that took us out of the crowds.

In Magic Kingdom, Guests can choose from three different dessert party options. For each of these parties, Guests get both a reserved area for watching Disney Enchantment and the opportunity to enjoy a variety of desserts and drinks before or after the show.

Guests can also uniquely experience Disney Enchantment by booking Celebration at the Top: 50th Flavors & Fireworks at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Here you can enjoy small plates before watching the fireworks on the observation deck reserved just for those special Guests.

We would also love to experience a specialty cruise. Who wouldn’t want to board the Grand 1 and have their own private experience on Seven Seas Lagoon while enjoying the Magic Kingdom fireworks?

If Guests are looking for a memorable experience for EPCOT’s Harmonious, they can book a dining package at either Spice Road Table or Rose & Crown. By doing so, they receive special viewing of the nighttime show.

Fantasmic also provides a dining package option for those wanting to ensure their seats at the show. A nice meal at Hollywood and Vine, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Mama Melrose can be enjoyed as part of this package. Even though Fantasmic has a vast seating area, the lines have been extremely long since this show returned. Even though we would love to enjoy it once again, having a dining package under the tree would make this experience even more magical.

These are just some of the Disney gifts we would love to see this holiday season. Which one would you choose for your gift?
