5. Boardwalk Resort
Think the fun and brightly colored New England boardwalks of the early 1900s and you have the inspiration for Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. Enjoying the shops, restaurants, bars and attractions along the boardwalk is fun in itself: factor in staying at the Boardwalk Resort for your vacation and you have a lot to be excited about. The circus themed pool at this resort is one of my all-time favorites. Think Casey Junior circus train from Dumbo, meets 1920s themed splash pad. Another reason I love Boardwalk Resort is the walkability to parks and other resorts. Popping around the boardwalk for dinner at the Dolphin’s Shula’s Steakhouse or grabbing a daiquiri at The Yacht & Beach Club’s Hurricane Hanna’s bar is an easy and fun walk from this resort.
