Wearing These Will Get You Kicked Out of Disney

These are five things you should avoid during your Disneyland stay.

The Disney parks are home to some of the world’s most magical experiences. From classic dark rides to thrilling state-of-the-art roller coasters, there’s something for everyone to enjoy during a Disney vacation. Perhaps the best feature of the Disney parks is how family-friendly and clean they are.

We’re not just talking about the literal cleanliness of the parks, bathrooms, and restaurants, but also the atmosphere as a whole. Disney goes to great lengths to ensure its parks are fun, safe places for the entire family to enjoy, which is why it enacts strict dress code policies.

TikTok user @sophiesm1th_ highlighted five things guests should avoid wearing and showing off during their trip to Disneyland Paris. While the video focuses on Disney’s European resort, these rules apply to all of Disney’s theme parks.

#1 Costumes

Guests are instructed not to wear costumes inside the parks. This rule is in place for several reasons, mainly so that employees can distinguish themselves from regular guests. This cuts back on confusion and actually makes the parks safer places to explore.

Children 12 years old and younger are allowed to dress up, but adults should just stick to basic clothes.

#2 Revealing Clothing

Guests should also refrain from revealing too much skin. The Disney parks are quite accommodating in this regard, but there are still limits to what guests can and can’t wear. For example, guests are not allowed to walk around in a bikini top or sports bra.

Guests may also be asked to change or leave if their bottoms are too tight and/or too short.

#3 Offensive Clothing

This next one goes hand in hand with Sophie’s previous point. Guests should refrain from wearing anything that could be deemed as offensive. We’re not saying you can’t wear that cool shirt with the skeleton on it, but we are reminding you that kids are visiting the parks.

Anything too scary, gory, sexual, or in between may get flagged by Disney, so it’s best to stick to a classic Stitch T-shirt and cargo shorts.

#4 Excessive Clothing

This is more of a safety concern than anything. Guests are asked not to wear anything long enough to touch the ground, which could be a safety risk around the park and on rides.

#5 Tattoos

This last item on our list may be harder for some people to hide, as tattoos are permanent. Disney simply asks if an individual has a tattoo that could be deemed offensive, they cover it up.

These are just the basics, as Disneyland Paris and the rest of the Disney theme parks have a long list of rules guests are expected to follow. But again, Disney can be quite accommodating. As long as you’re not doing anything too crazy, you’re likely to have a great day at the parks.
