We Can’t Wait For These Experiences to Return to Walt Disney World

We are so excited for the new year and with it all the new experiences that are coming to Walt Disney World.  There is so much to look forward to when it comes to 2022 at the Walt Disney World Resort and we can’t wait to experience it all.

We have a few of the top experiences we can’t wait to return to Walt Disney World in 2022.  Take a look and then start planning your Walt Disney World vacation.

Festival of Fantasy Parade- Magic Kingdom

It has been since March 2022 that we have seen the Festival of Fantasy in the Magic Kingdom.  This afternoon parade brings the magic to the streets each day and we are thrilled it will be returning in 2022.

We aren’t sure exactly when the Festival of Fantasy will be returning to the Magic Kingdom, but Disney has announced it will be in 2022.

We can’t wait to have an afternoon parade back in the Magic Kingdom once again and are thrilled to see the beautiful floats, hear the great music and see our beloved characters all together once again.

Finding Nemo: The Musical

We love Finding Nemo: The Musical in Disney’s Animal Kingdom and are so happy that a new show featuring our beloved characters, as well as some of the original songs from the musical, will be returning to the Disney Park.

Finding Nemo:  The Big Blue and Beyond will be opening in Disney’s Animal Kingdom in 2022 and we are looking forward to seeing what the new musical has to share with us.

We have been told that the new storyline will focus on the time period of Finding Dory which we know will be filled with fun and adventure.

Live Entertainment

Over in EPCOT Guests are once again able to enjoy live entertainment such as the Broadway Concert Series that returned this year with EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts.

This series brings outstanding Broadway stars to the American Gardens Theater in EPCOT’s World Showcase where they perform a variety of beloved Disney and Pixar songs.

This concert series started January 14th and will be running through February 21st.

For EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival, it has been announced that the Garden Rocks concert series will be returning as well this year.

This concert series sees popular bands come to EPCOT to entertain Guests as they enjoy the beautiful festival.

We are so thrilled to have live entertainment coming back to the Theme Parks as it truly is part of the magical experience in Walt Disney World.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire

Returning to the castle stage in Magic Kingdom for 2022 will be Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire.

An updated version of the royal friendship faire show to include the 50th celebration, we are excited to have Mickey and friends once again performing throughout the day at the castle stage.

We don’t know when the show will open in 2022, but we do know it will have a new opening and closing songs including “Where The Magic Feels Like Home” will be part of the new show.

Fantasmic

We have been anxiously awaiting for Fantasmic, the nighttime spectacular, to return to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and 2022 seems to be the time!

Disney  has announced that this extremely popular show that features water projections, fireworks, characters, and so much more will be back in 2022 with new characters and even a whole new scene.

This is one of the best evening shows in all of Walt Disney World and we are beyond happy to have it coming back in 2022.

It is time to get that imagination working once again!

MK Railroad

Walt Disney World Railroad

Even though Disney hasn’t officially announced when the beloved Walt Disney World Railroad will be opening once again, we are hopeful it will be in 2022.

There is something truly magical about hearing the train whistle as you travel around Magic Kingdom.  We love jumping on board to travel around the whole Park seeing all the different lands.

We truly hope that we will once again be able to ride the railroad in 2022.

Disney Dining Plan

Disney Dining Plan

The Disney Dining Plan allows Guests to add a dining package to their Walt Disney World vacation.  This allows them to prepay for select food, depending on their plan selection, prior to their trip.  Many Guests enjoy this feature as it allows their Walt Disney World vacation to feel more all inclusive.

Disney has announced that the dining plans will be returning to Walt Disney World in 2022, but we haven’t been told when or what they will look like when they do return.

We look forward to having this option available to us once again when we travel to Walt Disney World in the future.

Tours

As we started 2022, we have seen a few tours start to return to the Disney Parks.  Both Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom have a few tours such as Keys to the Kingdom and Caring for Giants available to Guests.

Tours are a great way to add a little extra magic to a vacation and a way to see parts of Walt Disney World that you don’t typically get to see.

Even though there are only a few tours available right now, we look forward to more returning in the future.

There is so much coming in 2022 and we can’t wait for many of these magical experiences to return to Walt Disney World.

What experiences are you looking forward to the most in 2022?
