20. Celebrate the holidays in the parks
Celebrating the holidays in Disney Parks offers plenty of possibilities for unique experiences to behold. Each park presents its own offerings. For instance, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Disney World and Festival of Holidays in Disneyland are both must-do experiences. And of course there are many others as well, including other seasonal and holiday celebrations throughout the year. You may have watched televised Christmas specials in Disneyland and Disney World, but have you ever considered going in person? That would definitely be the experience of a lifetime.
19. Dine at Victoria and Albert’s
At various Disney locations around the globe you’ll find a profuse range of impeccable dining possibilities. One such experience that really takes the cake is dining at Victoria & Albert’s. Located within the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa in Disney World, this ultimate culinary endeavor provides you with all the regal elegance and finery you can ever imagine being presented at any meal, and then some. Engage in a lavish seven-course fixing that can be paired with wine if you so choose, or opt for more private dining accommodations by reserving the Chef’s Table. 18. Join Club 33
Another uniquely private culinary experience can be all yours if you’re fortunate enough to have membership to Club 33. The elusive location for the original Club 33 is hidden right in plain sight, in Disneyland, California’s New Orleans Square (above Café Orleans and the French Market). While the subdued entrance was deliberately intended to not stand out, within the interior of Club 33 you will discover a host of unparalleled wonders, including a most elusive five star luxurious restaurant of impeccable quality. However, access is restricted for members only, and membership is not easy to come by, as it can be pretty pricey and there is a waiting list spanning years. But membership to Club 33 comes with so many benefits we can’t begin to mention them all. It’s not surprising to learn that several celebrities, presidents, dignitaries, and other notable names past and present have all enjoyed membership at Club 33. Also note there are two other Club 33 extensions currently in existence, with one at Tokyo Disney and another in Shanghai Disney. According to Orlando Sentinel, Club 33 will also be coming to each of Disney World’s four parks very soon.
17. Go on a Disney Cruise
Many people get their vacation fix by way of a luxury cruise. But Disney Cruises don’t just deliver on luxury alone, but rather give off the same magic you get when you visit the parks and stay at a resort property. For Disney Cruise Line guests embarking on one of the Bahamian or Caribbean voyages there is a stop included along the way at Disney’s own private island—Castaway Cay. This tiny piece of paradise was even awarded the 2016 Cruisers’ Choice for top-rated cruise line private island destination. Access to the island and all that it offers is exclusive to Disney Cruise Line guests. Once you disembark you’re in for a host of unparalleled experiences, from swimming, biking, hiking, kayaking, canoeing, snorkeling, plus a whole lot more. You can even purchase souvenirs and gifts. And of course, you’re likely to run into a couple of Disney characters along the way and even enjoy beach barbecues, parties, games, and ongoing good times.
