19. Visit Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room
In more ways than one this tantalizing tropical performance, featuring brightly colored animatronic birds set in paradise ranks high on the list. Not only is it a timeless fun-through-the-ages experience the whole families can take in and appreciate together, but it also stands as a very significant precursor to all of Disney’s audio-animatronics in general. More specifically, it was the original 1963 Disneyland debut of the Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room attraction that set the stage for all the others, including famed classics like “it’s a small world,” The Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean. The Enchanted Tiki Room continues to be a must-do for Magic Kingdom Park visitors, with its dazzling coordination of singing and moving around, exotic bird participants, tiki torches, and other awesome island touches. While the attraction has seen several updates and changes over the years, including re-mastered audio and energy-efficient lighting replacements, the overall integrity of the show has been retained and continues to be the same well-loved classic it has always been.
