Top 10 Rides at Magic Kingdom Park

7 Dwarfs Mine Train

Walt Disney World, located in Orlando, Florida, was orignally known as “The Florida Project” developed in the 1960’s by Walt Disney, and was intended to create a community of tomorrow, also known as EPCOT (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow).  Unfortunately, Walt Disney passed away in 1966, before construction began.  Walt’s brother, Roy O. Disney postponed his retirement to oversee construction of the resort’s first phase.  Walt Disney World was open to the public on October 1, 1971, and today covers 27,258 acres with over 25 Resort Hotels, four theme parks, two water parks, several golf courses, a camping resort, and other entertainment venues, including Disney Springs, an outdoor shopping, dining, and entertainment complex. It is the most visited vacation resort in the world, with an average annual attendance of over 52 million.  The theme park that started it all was Disneyland in California which opened in 1955.  The Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World resembles Disneyland, and is the most popular of the four theme parks. The rides I have highlighted are the most popular, most visited, and therefore usually require Fast Passes.
