The Ultimate Disney Experiences You Don’t Want to Miss
Walt Disney World has much to see and do throughout the four main Disney Parks, two water parks, Disney Springs, and the fantastic Disney Resorts. With so much to see and do, there are some experiences that we like to make sure we do on each trip. These are the unique experiences we enjoy making each trip, no matter how big or small. They are what make the trips magical for us.
We wanted to share these ultimate Disney experiences with you so you can add them to your Walt Disney World vacation plans.
Visiting Mickey Mouse
A trip to Walt Disney World isn’t complete without a trip to see Mickey Mouse. It doesn’t matter how often we have been to Disney Parks; we still enjoy saying hello to Mickey during our trip.
Luckily Guests can meet Mickey Mouse in all four Parks as well as at a few Disney restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort Property. By reading this post, see where all these locations are to determine where you want to see Mickey Mouse.
There is something special about seeing Mickey Mouse during a Walt Disney World vacation that is hard to put into words. It doesn’t matter how many times we say hello. Each time is remarkable. Take time during your vacation to schedule a time to visit Mickey Mouse.
Ride All the Transportation
Something that makes Walt Disney World a unique vacation destination is the complimentary transportation that is offered around the property. Not only is it nice to have the ease of accessible transportation, but we also like taking time during our vacation to experience the fun and unique options.
The most iconic transportation would be the Disney monorail. This transportation system takes Guests around the Magic Kingdom Resorts and EPCOT. A truly special Disney icon, the Disney monorail is an experience we enjoy each trip. This might be a quick loop to EPCOT, back to Magic Kingdom, or a stop-off like some Disney Resorts. Either way, we like to enjoy the fun monorail.
The Skyliner takes Guests to and from EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios high above the Disney Resort property giving Guests a look at Walt Disney World like never before. Even if you aren’t staying at a Skyliner Resort, we suggest taking time to experience the Skyliner. This is a truly remarkable experience. We love seeing the outstanding views from high up in the Skyliner. And its efficiency of it is also impressive.
Make sure to take a boat ride during your Walt Disney World vacation. Guests can travel by boat to various locations throughout Walt Disney World, giving them a relaxing trip to a Disney Park or Disney Resort.
Take time during your vacation to experience some of the Disney transportation. It is part of what makes Disney so extraordinary.
Pictures With Disney Park Icons
No matter how often we visit Magic Kingdom, we still take time to capture a picture in front of Cinderella Castle. We love having these iconic pictures to represent our trips and see how Disney Park and our kids have changed over the years.
Although we make sure we take the traditional picture in front of the icon, we also have fun getting fun photos from different points of view. Walking around the Tree of Life or getting a photo from the side of the castle are fun ways to include the Disney Parks icon in a different, non-traditional way.
We also like taking photos with the icons at night. They come to life in a new way in the evenings, and if you can catch the Beacons of Magic, it is even more magical.
Don’t forget those icon photos when you visit Walt Disney World. We also have a list of other great picture ideas HERE.
Have an Iconic Treat
It wouldn’t be a trip to Walt Disney World if we didn’t enjoy some of the great iconic treats throughout the Disney Parks and Resorts.
We like to have at least one Mickey-shaped treat during our stay. This might be a pretzel, ice cream sandwich, or delicious beignets. Treats taste better when they are shaped like Mickey Mouse.
We also like to enjoy some of the Disney treats. Having a Dole Whip or popcorn while sitting on the hub in front of Cinderella Castle is magical. Although we like trying out new options, we enjoy some traditional Disney snacks.
Take time during your trip to experience some of the iconic treats throughout Walt Disney World.
Enjoy the Magic
This might sound like the most effortless experience, but it can be the hardest at Walt Disney World. Take time during your trip to enjoy the magic all around you. Plan in time during your Park days to enjoy the small moments.
This could be enjoying a walk around your Disney Resort. A snack in front of the Tree of Life or relax as you enjoy the free entertainment at Disney Springs. Allow yourself some time during your vacation to just enjoy everything around you. This can be some of the best moments of your vacation.
Walt Disney World has many magical experiences throughout the Disney Parks and Resorts. It is impossible to see and do them all in one Disney vacation. However, these ultimate Disney experiences are ones we make each trip. They are unique and make Walt Disney World a fantastic place to visit.
