The Most In-Demand Halloween Tickets in Disney History Just Sold Out
The warning came early, and it came true even faster than expected. Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 tickets had barely been on sale to the general public for a day before two of the most anticipated dates on the calendar were already gone.
The Dates That Are Gone
As of June 19, Oogie Boogie Bash at Disney California Adventure has officially sold out for two specific nights. Halloween itself, Saturday, October 31, is no longer available. October 11, a Sunday that falls during the most atmospheric stretch of Disneyland Resort’s Halloween season, has also sold out.
The timing here matters. General public ticket sales opened June 18. By June 19, these two dates were already gone. That is a sellout window of roughly 24 hours for the most in-demand night on the entire calendar, which is fast even by Oogie Boogie Bash’s already competitive standards.
Pricing tells part of the story, too. Halloween night carried the highest price tag on the entire 2026 calendar at $199 per guest, the top of the event’s $139 to $199 general admission range. October 11 was priced at $179. Both sold out anyway, proving that price alone is not enough to slow down demand for this particular event.

Why Oogie Boogie Bash Disappears So Quickly
For anyone who has followed the long-running debate between Oogie Boogie Bash and Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World, this sellout is exactly the kind of evidence that fuels the case for Disneyland’s villain-focused event. Villains Grove at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, immersive treat trails hosted by Disney villains, and rare character appearances from figures like Ernesto de la Cruz, Mother Gothel, and the Sanderson Sisters have made this event one of the most consistently sold-out experiences in the entire Disney calendar.
This year’s event runs for 33 separate nights, the longest run Oogie Boogie Bash has ever offered, stretching from August 18 through Halloween night on October 31. That extended run gives guests more options than previous years, but the sellout of two dates within a single day after general sales opened makes clear that more nights does not translate into less competition for the dates everyone actually wants.
What Else Guests Need to Know for This Halloween Event
Oogie Boogie Bash runs from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. each night, though party guests can enter Disney California Adventure as early as 3:00 p.m. on their ticketed date without a separate theme park reservation. Parking is not included with party admission, and none of the Lightning Lane options are available during the event.
This year’s lineup includes the returning Villains Grove experience, character meet-ups, immersive treat trails, seasonal decor, included PhotoPass downloads, and Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake: A Haunted Mansion Street Party, a brand new experience replacing Mickey’s Frightfully Fun Parade, which is not running this year due to construction. An optional dessert party add-on accompanies the new street party for guests wanting a reserved viewing spot.
A special D23 Night exclusive to D23 Members is also confirmed for September 27.

The Takeaway for Anyone Still Deciding
Most party nights remain available right now, but the speed of these two sellouts is the clearest signal yet that the rest of October is not going to last much longer. Tickets are valid only for the date of purchase, are nonrefundable, and must be purchased online.
For guests who have been on the fence about locking in a date, the decision just got considerably more urgent. The dates everyone expected to sell out first have already done exactly that, and the rest of the calendar appears to be moving in the same direction.
