3. Special Event Days
During the fall and winter seasons, Magic Kingdom plays host to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. On nights when these events occur throughout September, October, November and December, the park closes to regular day guests at 7pm. Because of this, a lot of people will choose to visit another park where they are getting more bang for their buck. I’ve noticed that wait times tend to be significantly shorter on these days, making it an excellent time to visit the park.
2. Right After A Major Holiday
I have found that the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas tends to be one of the slowest times at Walt Disney World because people aren’t traveling—they’re working and getting ready to travel for Christmas. If you’re able to visit Magic Kingdom during this quiet period, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by your ability to get a lot done! The time right after spring break season ends until the time summer break starts is also another good time to visit.
