The Best and Worst Times to Visit Magic Kingdom During the Week

7. Extra Magic Hour Days

If you are not staying on property, visiting during an extra magic hour day tends to result in waiting in decently long lines. Those who stay on property are able to access the park either an hour earlier than regular guests or stay an hour after the park closes. This means that those E-ticket attractions will have incredibly long lines and probably no FastPasses available either. If you don’t mind the long lines, you can still make the most of your visit.

6. Weekends

Weekends will always be busy at Walt Disney World no matter what, but especially for Magic Kingdom. Lines will be incredibly long for popular attractions as well as less popular attractions, and FastPasses will be hard to come by for E-ticket attractions. Weekends are good for taking your time in the park and catching some shows and a few rides, but don’t plan on doing everything on your list.
